That tip of throwing the rod forward is very helpful, I’ve seen guys do the same retrieve before but having someone explain what there doing is very helpful! Thanks!
I am a Paul Brown enthusiast and I am right there with you. Best explanation ever about the rip stop, Thanks for that. I think it would be a hoot to fish together sometime.
Now season is over I'm getting ready for fishing. Great timing!
I did catch and release deer hunting this year...
I love the empty stringer idea but I would switch to single inline hooks so you damage the fish less. And I'm not letting injured fish go, especially trout. If they're doomed they're coming home to be dinner. And I don't ever keep a stringer of fish, one or two is enough.
my favorite lure for late season fish
The Rapala Rip Stop also works in the bays for specks
Ty for that bro
Yeah!
Seems like a pretty light set up for the Ranch Fairy 😂
Time to get hyped for fishing, since deer season ends in a week.
Already been since October
@@RanchFairy meant time for me....lol

Crap in one hand and wish in another….
LETS GO
@@RanchFairy our deer season just ended...well ends on the 31st...and its butt cold in Maryland, so...still have a few months before I get out for fishing
Which color was most productive of the two corkies ? Thanks great video.
Both - two different days. If you’re gonna buy one. Get the white one.
Love the empty stringer theory. Catch, photo, and release.
Looking for medium power, fast action 7'6".
Best rod for me for this is a cashion icon topwater/jerkbait M 7'. Perfect rod action and lightweight.
Ranch Fairy I need help. I’ve been fishing a corky all week this week in belly button to chest deep water and I feel like I absolutely cannot keep it off the bottom. I keep hanging shell and mud and I am working the hell out of it. I’m fishing flurocarbon 14 lb with a 20 lb leader. I’ve seen y’all and other folks fishing them in knee deep water with no issues. What am I doing wrong
HMMM, cookies don't sink that fast.
I honestly don't know. I throw the original sinking corky in knee to belly button all the time.
I completely disagree with the "if you're fishing it slow, fish it slower". I fish it like a jerk bait and have no issues.
HMM.
@@RanchFairy I figured it out yesterday! I went to braid instead of straight Fluorocarbon and changed the hooks like you did and they work exactly like you described. I think the Fluoro sinks too much.
@@rossleavins5388 excellent.
It's time for you to own some soft dine XL's
Pearl Chartreuse back
Pink Back, Pearl, Yellow belly - the Texas Chicken
Work them the same way.
@@RanchFairy I just bought some at the houston fishing show yesterday!! I’m going to fish them tomorrow.
@@RanchFairy I caught a couple nice trout on fat boys today black back pearl sides and chartreuse belly.
I found a 7’ 6” Falcon medium action moderate tip, this the same rod you’re using here?
Where the pig sticken at sir?
South texas
Fairy says use swizzlers and flappers for fishing, not for hunting
So basically your walking the dog retrieve
And we have someone paying attention
I do it a little different two pops reel in the slack and repeat
