I remember going out in the bay with this guy on his buddies jon boat like 5-6 years ago, he was asking me what baits to use for flounder & giving the marine police a hard time completely oblivious. Thanks for the boat ride Jeff! 1fish2fish just proves that anyone with the right intel and a little bit of money can make fishn videos 😂
Ran across this video last week and used a popping cork for the first time today. Best day I’ve ever had on snook. I used a slightly different shrimp/popping cork, but used your tips and techniques and completely killed it. I really appreciate it!! I will for sure add the popping cork to the arsenal. Thanks again guys!!!!
Excellent video for a person like me who has just started sea fishing in North Devon England. Going to try my luck and give you feedback. Thanks again.
Thank you so much, you answered a lot of questions I had. I was fishing off the pier the other day was using the poping cork and had at least 2 feet of leader and was slaying the trout it was also high tide so it really helped. I’m trying to learn so much so I can get better. I didn’t know how much a leader would make a difference the people around me were not catching anything and yet I was catching speckled trout one after another. Your videos have really inspired me to become a future great angler man so thanks for all the content.
Nice video! Y'all reminded me of something I used to do with popping corks but have gotten out of the habit of doing. Cut bait under a popping cork in some current drifting into an eddy. I'll have to try that again next time we're out on the yak (and the air temp is above 40 deg 😋)
Great Informations keep it coming you guys are awesome sometime. We need some a little bit of education instead of just showing catching fish without knowing how thank you for what you do.
Hey man and lady. What lb. Test do u recommend for leader line? I'm new and was told 50 to 80. So I got 80. Lol. And first off it's really hard to tie well and secondly, it seems like the rubber worm doesn't flow quite right. Thanks foe the help.
I bought some popping corks, jig heads and shrimp using your affinity links (thank you for making it easy) a while back. Being fairly new to the area (Ocean View), I have mostly just wade fished out in front of my house using tandem hooks and fish bites for bait fish, but I really want to hook onto some nice size trout/drum. Without giving away your "honey holes", do you have any recommended areas (grass flats/oyster beds) where I can wade fish in Norfolk, VA Beach?
I’m new to the Channel. I’m new to sea fishing. What is the best rod and reel combo, pound test/line for red fish and flounder? I’m fishing off of the coast of South Carolina.
I also would like to know but on the NC coast and how to get to them? Also how do you avoid all the alligators recently? I know you guys have fished around my area. Thanks.
Check their channel, they have done a video on how to use Google Earth on Google maps to find spots and figure out water depth and so on, as well as good spots to fish
Have y’all ever considered fishing in the New River in Jacksonville NC during November through March?i heard the trout moves inland in the creeks there.
I fish Christmas Bay in Freeport, Tx. Put on a pair of waders , use new penny Gulp shrimp, wade knee deep and keep moving. Caught Reds and Trout thatvway.
That's crazy that I just so happen to be watching this video to learn techniques of cork popping to catch redfish but I literally got suggested one of those z-man redfish swimbait yesterday and I'm telling you the second cast I threw out there I got a big old bass I can't wait to do saltwater with it I'm so stoked
Seems like you’d possibly need like a 7’3 mh to handle the weight and length of popping cork. Am I correct? Anyone have a jam up rod recommendation for this technique
Please excuse the mistakes should be a popping cord makes noise while afloat doesn't. And disabled and use voice recognition software which is being messed up because I'm on a medical bus going to a doctor's appointment?

Yall are awesome! I've never used a popping cork, but that's going to change. Thanks.
Best fishing info on RUclips. Thanks.

Great video and excellent info. I can't wait to try a popping cork now. Thank you guys😊.
Thank you... very good information. Much appreciated.
Great tutorial! Thanks!
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing!!
Excellent video Team.
Great info video brother.
very good video!
Great video I have learned a lot. Thank you for what you both are doing.
If ur still in North Carolina please come back to VB you guys help me so much to find the fish and what to use.
Love the search bait comment. I like a popping cork for searching new areas then switch to mirrolure once I find the spot. Great video.

Great video thanks! The bomber vs cajun popping corks what
is better flat chucker face or rounded ?
Love your videos great job

I wish you would make videos in Maryland 😅😂
Always coming in hot with the best tips!
I put a pink swimming mullet on kale hook with split shot under a cork and been smoking the sea trout
Right on!!
Great 📹
Thank you Sir

Depends on where you’re fishing and what species you’re targeting if using a popping cork I wouldn’t go no higher then 30 lbs leader bro

That was such a good video you make things look so easy and put things in a great perspective for younger anglers who are not as veteran as you

Another one👍🏾👍🏾 ::DJ Khaled Voice::
ahhhhh!! YES LOVE THIS - this comment is ranked in the top 3 best comments EVER HAD ON THIS CHANNEL!!
I live in the upper Mid-Atlantic region are you able to use a popping cork in fresh water settings or just brackish and saltwater?
I live in the VA Beach area and I was just wondering where the flats are that you fish? Love watching y’all catch fish!
I also would like to know but on the NC coast and how to get to them? Also how do you avoid all the alligators recently? I know you guys have fished around my area. Thanks.
where do you find flats to fish? how do you know you arent about to walk into a hole? do you use waders with boots over them or the all in ones?
Check their channel, they have done a video on how to use Google Earth on Google maps to find spots and figure out water depth and so on, as well as good spots to fish

What waders do u recommend
How long of a leader do you recommend below a popping cork? Thanks
I'm trying one of these bad boys tonight at the Freeport , TX Jetties :)
I fish Christmas Bay in Freeport, Tx. Put on a pair of waders , use new penny Gulp shrimp, wade knee deep and keep moving. Caught Reds and Trout thatvway.
🤙🏽🤙🏽from the New River
Does the popping cork color matter
That's crazy that I just so happen to be watching this video to learn techniques of cork popping to catch redfish but I literally got suggested one of those z-man redfish swimbait yesterday and I'm telling you the second cast I threw out there I got a big old bass I can't wait to do saltwater with it I'm so stoked
I was fishing for a long time and I quit it for couple years then covid brought me back ☺️
What size hooks do you use and type
Can you use a bucktail?
Seems like you’d possibly need like a 7’3 mh to handle the weight and length of popping cork. Am I correct? Anyone have a jam up rod recommendation for this technique
If I'm using 20lb braid, what's the recommended leader line type/lb? Is there a good rule of thumb?
I use fluorocarbon...30lb
I'm confused. You use swivels to attach to the top and bottom of the cork instead of just tying the court directly to the line?
The swivels are part of the popping cork they have one on the top and on the bottom for you to tie on to
Tell us where you got your waders. I need a pair but I want a good set.
Can I fish Calico Bass with the Popping Cork?
wait, you can do popping cork rig with soft plastic lure?!! I usually saw people using this rig with live bait like shrimp, pinfish, etc etc
Wade fishing in saltwater? Sharks? Barracuda? Gulp!
Any good flats around the Virginia Beach area?
What’s the difference between a popping cork and say a regular float?
A topping for at speeds to make noise which is why it's called. The float doesn't have any beads
Please excuse the mistakes should be a popping cord makes noise while afloat doesn't.
And disabled and use voice recognition software which is being messed up because I'm on a medical bus going to a doctor's appointment?
What kind of waders?
I believe they are frog togs
Question - have you ever caught stripers / blue fish using a popping cork ? I'm from NJ /NY and I don't think I've ever seen anyone use one up here
I’ve caught blue fish in Savannah, Georgia mixed in with trout on live shrimp under a cork
Yup covid got me out of the city
Cast it and pop it slowly. There no you dont need to watch an 18 min video.
One thing you don't want to do is you don't need to stick your fingers all up in their guilt plates when you going to release the fish
It would be nice if you guys at least stated what State you are fishing in during your videos. thanks
They don’t even reply
