Hamburg is very sanded up these days. But still lots of grunter around. I usually fish with prawn. On kayak I use a small circle hook and no sinker. Winter is generally not the best time for our rivers. Feeding really slows down.
Gregg you need to come teach me how to catch those here in Sedgefield (Swartflei) those Grunter are thick up but tricky/impossible to catch. Over how many days was this fishing?
Spotties can be fussy, those big ones you get them right on the sides in the shallows. This video was 2 or 3 trips. Often have a bum trip where you fish all day and catch like one fish lol. Pressure and water conditions perfect but sometimes just hardly any fish. Tried to figure it out for many years lol.
