Hi i am from the Cape and visiting my suster in Boesmansriver and want to know how active the river is with Cob. Can you catch them in winter to and how far up. Thanks guys.
Plenty Cob In Boesmans, you can get them from the mouth right up to the top of the river. You want to fish where the rocks drop off from shallow to deep water.

Winter does work, best times are morning early and late afternoon into evening. Only time you struggle is if the rivers get icy cold
