    Thanks for sharing. I have an authority and the loads on the boards do not offer what the national average is stating as the rate. Where are the national averages derived from? Who offers those kinds of loads and who are the carriers? Another mystery in trucking!

    • @NorthAmerican-Trucking-News
      @NorthAmerican-Trucking-News  29 дней назад

      View it this way: the app collects data. If 10 loads were accepted at $4 per mile, another 6 at $3 and then 20 at $2 and let's say 5 at $1.50, it will add everything together and then produce an average of the rate collected, in this scenario that would be roughly 2.57. So, some people will say, but I only receive loads for $4 what do you mean the average is $2.57?? And then others will say, "What? Where did you find loads as high as $2.57?? But, all this average means is that there are people earning low, people earning high, and collectively across the entire DAT platform, the average of all the loads totals $2.57. Hope that cleared things up!

      @NorthAmerican-Trucking-News  29 дней назад

      It's an average taken from DAT which calculates the average based on the data they collect on their platform. Naturally,, there are a few variables to consider beyond that, such as deadhead miles, the rates that are below the average and the rates that are above the average. So, flatbed in many areas are doing great. But not in every area you know?

    Hello Sir, how are you, I hope you are fine. I watch a lot of your videos. I listen to you. I like your style very much. I want to become a truck driver and for this I have applied for a license. Right now I am in Dubai and the license is very expensive. About 12000 Dubai and for this I have to work very hard. I have to do a lot of work. Every month I save some money. It will take me about a year to get the license.

      Unfortunately, we do not have a training program, nor do we employ newly licensed drivers.

    The trucker should set the rates Not the shipper!!! What other business allows this. So I have something to ship and I am going to tel the trucking company how much I am willing to pay! Absurd🎉🎉

      We do set the rates. But if they don’t like our rate they get someone who will ship it cheaper. It’s free market

    I can’t fathom how electric trucks will ever take over anything given their half $1 million price tag with hair, thin, profit margins that are in trucking nowadays

  • @valdye99
    @valdye99 Месяц назад

    It’s not just the trucking industry. The entire economic system is collapsing. The only thing keeping it float is the trillions being printed which will invariably lead to an even worse scenario.
    We are in an economic spiral that leads directly to national bankruptcy via hyper inflation. At this point, they have no choice, but to do a complete monetary reset.
    All they’re doing at this juncture is riding the wave for as long as they can. It’s not going to get better.

    Dat isn't accurate since brokers repost the same load 15 times and it takes into account the short runs. And a once cent decrease on a non accurate board makes you think the market is down? Someone is upset about fuel prices and low rates loll
