for the device issues network part, in india at least, oneplus phones tend to get no audio on calls. to fix that mobile network> select sim > wifi calling > either change calling preference to mobile calling or turn off wifi calling. took me a long time to figure it out. i have a oneplus 9 with android 13.

If you somehow hit your the limit of physical ram, the extra virtual ram can be handy on those hard situations. Wear and tear of other parts like battery will be more likely to affect you in some way.
Yes it rarely will run when you have lots of RAM but the idea is that in general virtual memory is much slower than your physical RAM. So even when it is being used it's not an efficient activity. It's only really necessary when you're left with no choice cause you have a device with a really low amount of RAM. So why have something enabled when it just doesn't benefit you in the long run if your phone already has lots of RAM?
Yes, it will be used, even if your RAM isn't full. I have disabled it on my rooted phone (my Samsung S9+ doesn't have the RAM+ option). Because I have root I could see that it's being used even without full RAM. In Windows and Linux you can also see it. For example, my Windows PC has 32GB of RAM (11GB used) but it has still allocated 22,5GB to the disk. In Linux it's called SWAP (also on Android but they made it "more user friendly" by naming it RAM+). There it will normally not be allocated that much like on windows but still it is being used even if the RAM isn't full. So on your phone, you should definitely disable it unless you are using really RAM intense Apps and *really* need it. On PCs it also has these negative effects. However storage can easily and cheaply be swapped and SSDs are more durable than your phone's eMMC storage. If your phone's storage wears out, you most likely have to buy a new one.
The phone uses a bit of virtual ram even if the physical ram is not 100% full. That's done in order to prevent crashes and instability, it moves the least used programs in the virtual ram

@@kklc5477 the main actual disadvantage is you have less storage space. And the main advantage is that you get like 4 miliseconds faster loading time (you wont notice it in most cases)
its like difference between a 144hz display and 165hz display. The difference between them is only noticeable if you are a top tier competitive gamer (which most people are not)
