    The bead locks definitely look awesome. No doubt. The issue I've had is roll over due to side bite on the Trenchers so I would definitely be interested to see how how the Ventka tires perform.

    Thanks for doing this. Literally just working through options myself - but for me the Trenchers are the way to go. Prefer the Proline product anyway and the all-black wheel goes with my bespoke body design. The MST’s work well with the silver body colour though.

    This might sound "strange", but...what about running the MXTs is the front, and Trenchers is the rear. Just an idea. With off-road racing vehicles, it's quite common to run different front/rear tire combos. With the MXTs up front, they'll be great for "gripping", while having the Trenchers in the rear, they'll provide greater traction.

      Trenchers on the front would good. Would help with steering. Not as much bite would help with steering. But I don’t like the look of different tires.

    Yet another awesome Video from our canadian Brotha...... It's a coin flip on both those tires. I'm partial for the looks of the clone MXT's but the Trenchers are a serious fan favorite all over the world. Either way Jay you can't go wrong with either...Peace

    Hey Jason, sweet rim/tire combo! I want to order the same for my SRR. Are the Outlaw Wheels -4 offset (#3331) or -10 offset (#3336). Also did you use Fronts (120x60mm) all around or Rears (120x65mm). Thanks!

    I cant find this mxt clone setup anywhere online. Id really like these rims seen on the video. where do you buy these? I couldn't find the KM racing tires or the rims...

    Great build as always. Can you tell me if its possible to install the front steel drive shafts (LOS252085) from the super baja ray into the SRR?
    I´d like to get one, but I swore to myself to never buy an RC with plastic driveshafts again.

    Hey, quick Q. I could have sworn I watched one of your videos earlier today that mentioned Losi 17mm to 20mm hex adapters. If so, can you or anyone provide a link or part number please. Edit, I found what I saw but they're actually hexes, what I'm trying to do is fit these 20mm wheels on my Summit. Any help appreciated!

    Are the Hostile MXT the same as the MadMax Giant Grip ( rc-car-online.de/en/products/y1409_01-y1409-01-giant-grip-tires-on-madmax-extreme-rims-for-losi-and-hpi-pair.html )? Unfortunately the Louise X UpHill Xmaxx wheels I bought for my SRR do not fit, they collide with the rear arms, so I am looking for an alternative that's larger than the stock wheels. The MXT/MadMax look really nice.

    • @JasonPerrinRCVlogs
      @JasonPerrinRCVlogs  4 года назад +1

      Yes basically the same.
      If you get the SC versions of the Louise/Duratrax they should fit. They’re stock 5ive t size.

    The MTX are the way to Go on this! Losi Should have put 24 mm Hexes on from the Factory. For the Price, Its Unfair we have to Spend more Money for Standard choices! 🤬🤓

    It looks really silly (sorry). The rims are way too large to look realistic on an offroad car.
