From politics to sports to business, competition is undeniably a strong, driving force in our culture. But what role does competition play in creative success? Jordin Sparks joins us to talk about all the different eras of competition in her life-from growing up in a sports family to winning “American Idol” to hosting the new competition reality series “Roller Jam.” ruclips.net/video/vub4updOJOo/видео.html
I absolutely love his social media videos, he gets really real, when I'm doom scrolling I'm like hold up lemme listen to him. Holding it in is the worst for us black people we can't do it anymore. It's a hard time right now.. people are just in denial of it, its incredibly rooted in how this place was built. We can't sustain it anymore.
Such a powerful episode. I live for the mother daughter dynamics at the beginning of each episode. On another note, I feel like KeKe should definitely do more work with the community in terms of mental health, because babyyy, KeKe definitely knows her stuff! This was like watching two colleagues have a chat in the break room and I love it all! 💯👏🏾🙌🏾🖤
I was just meditating yesterday and thinking, "I may be depressed but I don't think it's solely from trauma I've experienced but because I'm living on the poverty line with no financial protection." Which is only gonna get worse with project 2025 going after title 7. Anyway, I'mma tune in now, thanks for the upload! ❤
Things that were said that really hit me: My favorite B word is "balance" if you find yourself living in one extreme or another you are doing something wrong. Joy is a practice. AMAZING. I love you both and thank you for this.
7:42 Sharon, he didn’t have the courage to be seen publicly representing a black person, but deep down, he must’ve had some type of love & respect for your grandmother to have left money behind for her house when he died. That alone tells how much of a great woman your grandmother was 💕 I can’t imagine being alive during those times. Women had to be SO strong. It’s because of our ancestors that us women are still so strong today 🙏🏾🙏🏾🤎
Sometimes it wasn’t even about having the courage but having to put himself and his family first. Had he represented black people all of his white customers would’ve left. It’s hard for us to wrap our heads around racism being legal and the right way to live but it was back then. Plus most black people didn’t have money to even get lawyers back then so he had to stick with where the money was to survive.
As someone who has grown up in the South Suburbs of Chicago. It’s so wild to hear that Crestwood and Blue Island were white cities at one point. I lived in Blue Island and grew up knowing all of these places to be black and mixed with Latinos, definitely not white. It’s funny how times and neighborhoods change.

i could be behindddd but i’m pretty sure shahem goes by they/them pronouns, can we respectfully try to stick with that when we refer to them☺️
Liking you on club shay shay after Tyrese Gibson thank you. Not me
Reminder Shahem’s pronouns are they/them🌹
Not mister “we shouldn’t vote for that lady” talking about staying sane now that she can’t protect us. BYEEEE.
