I have a couple of small geli plates but I don't use them very often, why I'm not sure because I love to use them... I enjoy getting the cool effects. I love your idea of removing the paint and then re-adding some paint in a different color...an idea I must use!
Love your videos and the colours you use ...so creative. I'm new to geli plates so watched lots videos. So far using magazines to print picture I've had no joy at all even though I've followed videos exactly.😞And tried these methods although get some good results suddenly my paper will be stuck all over the geli plate, it's a nightmare. I've tried scrap paper ,watercolour ,mixed media was ok but what paper do you recommend as determined to not give up. Thankyou.
I use deli paper, computer paper and tissue paper when I print usually. I do work fast though so it doesn’t have time to dry on the surface of the plate:) x
I really love 💕 you’re technique......it’s made for some really awesome pages, and stunning artwork. I’m going to have a go at this too. Thank you so much, I’ve subscribed and liked too
Hi - sorry I don't own any gelatos, but I have similar products (distress crayons and portfolio water-soluble pastels). I love blending them with my finders or with a wet wipe. If you heat them, you can also get cool effects when they melt. But dissolving in water is a quick way to add colour to your page. I am sure there are some great videos on youtube that can help you out - sorry I'm not much use!
