LOVED THIS video. So many great ideas, I will have to watch it several times!. I appreciate your commentary, as it helps to know what didn't work, as well a what did. I feel like we are the same colour wave length too.
Hi, Denise. Brand new subbie here. It is 2020 and last night was the time change, so to watch this video when it was the time change last year, made me chuckle. Thanks for your lovely video. You have a very pleasant voice to listen to. Love all your prints. Yeah, I am going to have lots of mini journals. I may mat a couple of mine for wall art. We will see.
(At 0.45) I get the same satisfaction when I can pull the cloths drier lint off the filter in one full piece. Just found your channel, so I’m looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you!
I really enjoyed your video. Especially that you showed how something did not come out as you wanted/planned. It is disappointing (such a beauty) but not the end of the world, as you may learn something from each pull of the paper. I have just purchased a Gel plate and yours is one of my favorite videos so far. Thank you
Thank you so very much! You are going to have so much fun Gel Printing!!! I have actually grown to love my print that didn't turn out. But yes, it was still disappoiting. But I got over it. lol
Dear Denise, I LOVE the abstract "accidents" that you pulled -- just as they are! They are wonderful examples of the art work doing what "it" really wants to do! You may want to do a series of happy accidents on the gelli plate! Best wishes, Dianna
@@DeniseLush Dear Denise, Art stuff is alive with its own energy. Let your right brain loose! Color copy the prints that you love to collage! Remember those fashions from several years ago where designers broke up designs? That's what I'm reminded of. Your prints reminded me of paint cracking and peeling. Real distressed looks! lol Remember, don't take yourself too seriously! There are no failures or mistakes, just unexpected outcomes! Have a great weekend! Dianna
Enjoy your video I’m just beginning so I really appreciate you sharing your experience I want to use my gelli prints for card making and the first two pulls you did I know you were disappointed but I was like those are awesome!!!! Again thank you for sharing
I've noticed a couple of people using a solid clear acrylic sheet, around 1/8" thick and slightly larger than the dimensions of the gel plate, placed underneath their gel plate. The gel plate is centered on top of the acrylic sheet and when they want to view their layering they can easily pick up the gel plate and look at it through the back which will end up being the front of your print. It really helps visualize the layering, I plan to do this myself.
Thank you so much Denise, I really really love ❤️ all those gorgeous and stunning prints, even the one that went wrong, still has virtues and is stunning too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
What a pleasure to watch your technique to create your page(s), I learned two important things - let each layer dry and cover it all with a white layer in order to pull-up everything underneath. Brilliant. And I love the second ghost print. Thank you for all the links you provide. It would be super if we could see it in real-time not sped up, that’s the beauty of being able to watch an artist work. Now I’m subscribed.
well first of all, thank you so much. Second, I am so glad you learned something from my video! That's awesome. Third, oh my goodness....if I did this real time, it would be a LOOOOOONG video. Is it just so you know how much time has passed between the layers? Or you just like to watch it real time? Also, thank you for subscribing!!!
Paula Devi if you click on the 3 dots on the top right of the video then select playback speed. You can select a slower speed to play it slower. Turn your volume off cos her speaking will sound real bad slowed down. Remember to change the speed setting the same way back to “normal “ & turn your volume back up when finished 😉
Lovely peaceful and satisfying printmaking. Very interesting that you take us through your process of trial and error. I loved the first print too and felt you could continue to work into it. Great stuff thank you
I am a genuine newbie. I am watching as many videos as I can before starting. This one of yours makes me realize that I will make mistakes, yet the first piece you made WAS gorgeous. Keep it for a collage, small pieces. It is amazing. I love your combination of images. Also, I will not use a tool to dry the paints.
You tossed those great acrylic skins! Was fun watching you pull them off. Another fun and interesting video. I sighed when the print didn’t turn out all the way. What a lovely piece, nevertheless. Lots of pieces to use. Cool stamp by Marlene, Denise.
oh Gosh no! I did not toss those acrylic skins! I haven't used them for anything yet but I have them! Yes, I love that stamp by Marlene. I have to stop myself from using it on everything.
Oh wonderful to hear, you kept those pretty skins. Getting a sense of your style and creativity, I was surprised, when I thought I saw you toss them, thinking that you would keep them. They are going to be lovely on a project, which I hope you share with us. So tickled to have found you, Denise. From the two videos I have watched, I like you style and process. I look forward to getting to know you to some degree, though listening to you and by enjoying being in your art space as you play. BTW, I enjoy your voiceovers. 💐
Can't understand why you were so disappointed with the first and second pulls. They look to me just like the partial remains of a medieval wall painting. Loved them. Thanks for sharing; have subscribed.
I love your work, and ive subscribed now. Gelli printing is so tantalising! I have liads that didnt work. I love your use of colour. To help dry in between layers, I use one of those hand-held fans to cool your face on a hot summer's day. It works well, cuts down the waiting time. I've heard heat can dry your plate, so maybes that's what you're finding with yours. I love your foamies/handmade masks etc 👏
Fun session. I don't think the yellow circles in your flowers showed up because they would have been on the bottom layer below the blue when you did your final print. All these prints turned out beautifully. Even the ones off that little five-by-five plate.
@@DeniseLush maybe next time wipe away the paint and then add the yellow, I watched the beginning of you video 4 time watching you peel the old paint off your brayer.
Soni lee Smith if you add some acrylic retarder it may help and give some working time. I don’t use a heat gun or hairdryer as I want more time before the acrylic paint dries and the paper sticks to the plate.
I have tried a similar technique and I used acrylic paint extender to help pull the paint from the gelli and had pretty good success with it. Maybe try adding it at different stages of layering....I just experiment until I find what works and what doesn't. :-)
Yes you should! Use inexpensive paper so you don't feel like you're 'wasting' paper if you like. And don't forget that sometimes when you pull a print you may not like it as a whole but if you cut it into pieces, you may LOVE it! Thanks so much for watching.
RUclips found you for me and I am so glad! Your technique is new to me and I'm always looking for fresh ways to use what I have. Putting all the layers on the plate before pulling is different. I've seen many videos where they pull a print, do a new gelli color combo/texture, pull that on to the same paper, and repeat several times to get the layered look. I'll give your method a try. Thanks for sharing.
well thank you! I'm glad you found me too! I have more gel printing videos so please check them out. Hopefully you'll get some more ideas. Here's the playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLDg0Un7_fPcxiidfM3SYPEKzcgsGrpnK_
Hi Denise, you know I just love gel printing and it’s so satisfying watching you, love your hand made stamps! Oh yes and totally get the peeling off layers on your brayer lol. If you are finding your plate is a bit dry (and I know you don’t like cleaning you plates 😱lol) but do give it a good clean and then rub baby oil into your plate, leave it a while, rinse it under the tap and leave to dry naturally, this should bring the condition back! Hope that helps! 💖
Hi Denise, yes a baby wipe or water and artist soap, just to get the excess off. Then the baby oil will get the rest off as you massage it in. Let it sit for a while and rinse again. Leave to dry. Hope this helps
Loved watching you do these prints. I usually only do 1 layer but this looks like fun! Hope you were able to catch me up with a use for your partial print. Maybe a tag for a gift or ATC cards? Thanks for the tutorial and the voiceover was great!
thanks so much. I have not used my partial print yet. It has to be something special because I love it so much. I have a tendency to make a lot of prints and not do anything with them! Not all. I just have so much fun gelli printing that I just play without a purpose. Thanks so much for watching! You must give multiply layers a try!!! It will be fun.
Yes I will. I have had this request from another person as well. Just trying to think of some ideas for some stamps I would like to make and I will get to it!
So sad your first print didn't work out. Maybe next time, just put on the paper, and let the paint dry while the paper is on. I usually let it dry over night...so patience is a bit of a thing...:) I use this method to clean my plate. Works well for me. Maybe also for you? Thanks for a lot of inspiration for Gelliprinting. Fun to watch! Haha...ok, I spoke out of turn. Is that even a English sentence? Second print went great. Anyway. Loved your video. Want to start making my own stamps again...:) You have a very nice voice. Great to listen to.
patience???? ugh....lol Yes that is an English sentence.lol Thumbs up! lol Thank you so much for your compliments and your advice!!! I think I will need a second gel plate if I am to let one sit overnight. lol
Thank you for taking us through the process and I have learned so, so much! Looking forward to trying this technique! This is the first I've seen of your videos and I'm subscribing to see more. Great demo! :-)
oh thank you so very much! I love it when people get excited and learn from what I post! That makes me so very happy. And thanks so much for subscribing. I look forward to reading more of your comments!!
Great video, I love the colors you use! I’ve been making some multi layer prints too, and I found that if there were lots of layers I really had to let the final layer dry (after rubbing on the paper), and if it was left for about 10 minutes the final layer would be bonded and cured, and the whole thing would pull up nicely 🥳🥳Great channel, I just subscribed!
Hi Denise, I love watching your videos! Thank you. The first print - the bits of which that did turn out were totally gorgeous!! And I'm thinking that the yellow Posca paint didn't show up because when you pulled the print, the yellow marks ended up being under the stamped layer of opaque blue paint - it's a reverse stack of paint. Aah, and now I've read the comments below and see that Ruthie Miller said the same thing... but I'll send this anyway. Also, the Tim Holtz stamp set is Bitty Grunge. Extra thanks for your lovely work. Keep it coming!
Thanks so much!!! I'm glad you enjoy my videos. Yes everybody seemed to clue in to the whole layering process and why it wasn't showing up. Everybody but me that is! LOL! OOOH And thank you for naming that stamp set, I will have to write it on the plastic right now so I know for next time! Thanks again!
And holy moly! You can let the paint dry on your plate?! I’ve been working so fast trying to get it done before it dries because whenever it does my prints come up really faded- you just gotta put an active layer on the back at the end 🤯
Yes I have. This was a long time ago now. I did have one gel plate I think I ended up throwing out. So I can't recall if it was that one or a different one. It was one I had had for a long time that wasn't Gel Press, so it just wasn't as good.
Really enjoyed your video!. It is so jam packed with helpful demos. You make me feel better because I have had the paper stick onto the plate stubbornly as happened to you. I had blamed it on the number of layers, maybe types of paints, or thickness in that area or the thickness of the last coating. But I see from yours that these don't seem to be the cause. You also mentioned a plate getting dry. I have addressed that problem by taking a small amount of mineral oil (from the drugstore) and rubbing it into a clean plate. ( I don't leave thick layers of paint on my gelli plates so I don't think that's the cause ). I wipe off the oil well with a non-lint paper towel like Brawny and then pack it away with its plastic cover and into the clam shell. I also have discovered that it is a big mistake to put the plate onto paper for a base, or to store the plate ...this pulls some of that sliminess out of the plate which isn't good. Hope this helps one of your viewers. I look forward to more from you as I LOVE your video approach and your style. Thanks so much!
I wonder if the the paper gets left on too long and that's why it sticks!?!? Who knows. Yes I have had some people suggest mineral oil. I am going to have to myself some! I've also been told baby oil.I don't leave lots of paint on my plates anymore. But that one that is dry, I had. And I do not store it on paper, just the plastic sheets that came with it and in its original packaging. So all that I am doing right! Lol Thank you so much for your comment and compliments! Means so much to me!
Denise I know this is an older video, but I have just come across it so i dont know if you have already figured this out by now, but, I felt your pain when the first pull didn't all come off the plate, it has happened to me so many times, but then I saw somewhere how to recover your print. When it all doesn't come off, lay your part printed paper down on your desk, cover the remaining print that is left on the gelli plate with gel medium, then turn it over and line it up with your print, you will be able to line it up as you can see through the gel plate, rub it, at voila...the rest of the print transfers to the paper.
Thanks Jane. I believe I have tried that since on other things. Sometimes it works. But sometimes, I don't know what it is, but whatever is on the plate is just too darn stubborn! lol
@@DeniseLush yes that is the nature of it I suppose. That is why I have started to do lots of layers, then wait for it to dry, final pull layer and wait a few hours, it never ever fails to all pull up....result...( I have got a few on the go tho!!!)😊
@@DeniseLush I understand what you're saying, soooooo... do your layers through the day, ( this is obviously not when you're filming it!!🤣) ... then before bed put your final all over layer, paper on, go to bed, wake up....pull your print.....magic happened!!! .... oh the orgasmic feeling when it pulls off in one!!😆😆😘😘. Anyway, just want to say, I love your art. Xx
@@janefrance5946 I already do it with the layers. Letting them dry in between. It's that final one. I don't let that one sit for hours. I will try it. Maybe tonight! Thanks
Hi! Fantastic video and beautiful print! Could you give us a link where to get that beautiful rubber stamp (not the handmade ones obviously) and also where to get that item you use for fixing your paper to the gelli plate, pls? (The speed hall one?). Thanks!
I love this video - found it helpful and inspiring. Too bad I am so behind the curve here since this was made more than a year ago. I am so disappointed the stamp by marlene is no longer available cuz I love that one! Will be watching for it to show up for sale used...
Thank you. You're never too late to watch a youtube video. Gel printing is still quite popular. Oh, that's too bad about the stamp. It's a great one. I'm sure you'll come across another one that's somewhat similar. Or maybe a combo of two stamps that can achieve the same look. You check Amazon for a used one?
Dear Denise, great video, thnx. I love the Prints the way they came out. If you put down the dots first, then the flowers and last the Background everything will show up (it's called reverse glass painting" technique). What has to be in the foreground (details) must be painted first, when you use opaque paints. Dryibg the layers is important too, i use a Hairdryer, works perfekt. English is not my native language, sorry, hope you understand my description :)... much love.,
Thank you Yes I understand what you are saying. It was figured out MUCH later. lol Something I had actually known but completely slipped my mind when I was doing this print! LOL Thanks so much
I really enjoyed your voice over, as someone else commented. And that’s a big deal because I just realized that there are other artists who I enjoy watching them work, but their voices 😳😳 I also liked watching you work, and using your stamps-makes me want to try making my own stamps, as well. Anyone: I want to try Gelli printing myself, but I have not yet started buying supplies. Can or does anyone recommend certain paints? Or should I just buy whatever, as long as it’s acrylic?
Oh thank you! That's a nice compliment. As for the gel printing question. You don't need special paints. If you already own some, try using those first. I mostly use Liquitex Basics or Golden Fluid.
It's just acrylic paint. All the other layers are dry (cause you let it dry between each layer). Then you need to add a layer of paint or gel medium to pull(all the layers) the print.
Really, this was so much fun to watch. YT suggested one of your videos yesterday and note I'm a new subscriber! I love that first one and think the first print is fabulous with the bad peeling! It may have been disappointing but those edges can't be easily replicated! I've found that I like using thin paper because I can cover books with it better than cardstock. I have deli paper that I want to try too. Oh, and I have heard that heat guns can catch these plates on fire, so, that is a no! LOL! The name pronunciations sound right! I havea few Norwegian family names that I've discovered I have been butchering for decades. Sigh. Keep on trying, it is hard to even hear some sounds, or lack of sound, isn't it!I
WOAH! I never heard that before! My heat gun doesn't give off much heat but I still won't be using it on my gelli plate anymore. Yes I see you're point with the thinner paper. It does make it more versatile. It really is hard! And I am going to have to listen to it again to even try to pronounce it again. I'm just soon going to start saying " You know that gelling printing woman I admire!" lol Thanks so much for watching and becoming a new subscriber!!!
@@DeniseLush I love it - and it is fun to discover new people. I find that I love watching a lot of women, and go back to them all the time, but then something interesting pops up and I'm off and watching! LOL! What I find about my deli paper is that it is the same thing my mother used in the 50's for wrapping sandwiches! Who knew! She loved it because it was pre-cut. Of course, I thought those kids who had wax paper like Cut Rite - long sheets - was much better. And, I would have loved to have their soft white, pre-sliced bread instead of her homemade whole-wheat. Kids... still want something else! LOL!
Hi I am new to gel prints I loved watching all the beautiful colors in your handmade stamps and textures and I have a question the white paint that you put on to lift the print is that some thing that you have to do to get the print right or just your preference?
Thank you Lisa, I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. So let me know if I got this wrong. You can choose any color to lift the print. It depends what you want. But in order to pull the print you need a final full layer. Hope that answers your question.
I absolutely loved watching you pick that acrylic off your brayer! I don't think mine has a thick enough layer to do that, but I'm gonna be watching to see if I can when it does get thick enough, lol. I think I have the same little scripty stamp that you don't know where it came from. Is the writing in French or something? If it is, it is one of those small Prima texture stamps. Loved this video and I hate it that you didn't get that first pull! The pieces were gorgeous. Sorry for the long comment, but I would like to request that you make a video on making your own foam stamps if possible. I am interested in making my own but I don't really know where to start. Thanks for sharing!
lol thanks. It is so satisfying lol I'm actually able to do it fairly often. With that particular brayer anyway. I think the writing is french. It's definitely not english. Thanks. Never apologize for a long comment. I don't mind at all. I have another video where I do make some foam stamps, but its by die cutting foam. I could do another video for you. I'll try and think of some designs I would like to do. Thanks for the video idea! Keep em coming! and thanks so much for watching!
Dear Kelley, There are lots of wonderful ways to make handmade stamps. Type that phrase on RUclips, and check out Pinterest. You don't need fancy equipment or supplies. Have fun experimenting!! Best wishes, Dianna
I am not a person for grunge really, but Man oh man that print that did not transfer, was going so well and I loved the colors... So sorry it didn't work out for you.
It's cool, though. It didn't come out the way you wanted, but it reminds me of an old wall that had a mural on it and some of the mural came off. I love it.
@@saharo you mean you can't pull the print? Experiment. All paints are different. Try less paint for your final layer. When you do that final layer of paint you have to pull right away. You don't let it dry. You should also be able to see the previous layers through that final layer of paint on your gel plate.
Fantastic you inspire me! I have just had a go but my first pull just pulled off the light coat of paint? What did I do wrong? My 2nd pull was ok but not all came off, do I need different paints? I am just using regular acrylics? I bought a golden gel medium to try and make them not dry as fast but if I'm right this is not what you want? Sorry for all the questions Denise! :) thanks.
It can all be so finicky, its really hard to say what the problem is. That final layer has to be thin. It should completely cover the plate, but you should be able to see the previous layers underneath. And then put that paper down right away and rub. Sometimes you may have to rub a little harder. Chances are if you only pulled that top layer of paint, its because you used to much paint. You want all those before layers to be dry. Hope this helps!
This is the one I have. I can't tell you how good it is, I've never used any other ones. lol So it works for me! www.currys.com/catalogpc.htm?Category=SPEEDBALL_BAREN&Source=Search

I think the first print was beautiful, even though you didn't get it all. You could always cut parts out and use it to collage on a page. What you're doing here looks like reverse printing. What you add to the plate first, will show up at the top of the print. The reason why you didn't see the yellow marks was because it's behind the blue acrylic paint 😉 I really like your foam stamps. What do you use to cut them out with? I've ordered some craft foam sheets a couple of days ago which is on it's way and I think this is an awesome idea for using them!
Thanks Danielle! I just use a knife or scissors to cut out my foam stamps. I do have a video showing how I made some: ruclips.net/video/Yi5Ux2s9--0/видео.html Hope this helps!

Always remember that you're working from front to back, so if one layer is opaque, the next one won't show through.

I have actually grown to love my print that didn't turn out. But yes, it was still disappoiting. But I got over it. lol
Such nice colors and very nice prints! !- and the peeling in the beginning was good to the soul😊
lol thank you. My last video has peeling as well! lol Just in case you need more therapy.
@@DeniseLush THAT kind of terapi I allways need😊
I like your damaged transfers. They are cool! So abstract! I hate to say it but they are my favorite.
lol it's okay. you can say it!
Thank you
Dear Denise, I LOVE the abstract "accidents" that you pulled -- just as they are! They are wonderful examples of the art work doing what "it" really wants to do! You may want to do a series of happy accidents on the gelli plate! Best wishes, Dianna
Thank you so much. I love your comment. I need to think more like that "the art work doing what IT really wants to do!" Thank you.

Thanks so much. I'm glad the videos help!
Gosh these were really unusual & BEAUTIFUL‼️. Love the color combinations.
thank you! Glad you like it!
Excellent ideas.
Thank you
I've noticed a couple of people using a solid clear acrylic sheet, around 1/8" thick and slightly larger than the dimensions of the gel plate, placed underneath their gel plate. The gel plate is centered on top of the acrylic sheet and when they want to view their layering they can easily pick up the gel plate and look at it through the back which will end up being the front of your print. It really helps visualize the layering, I plan to do this myself.
I have one of those now!!!!
@@DeniseLush I realized after I posted that comment the video is 3 years old. Did you have some cut or did you buy some pre-manufactured ones?
@@travellife08 Joggles sells them! They're great to have. Especially when you want to use your smaller gel plates kinda like a stamp!
Thank you so much Denise, I really really love ❤️ all those gorgeous and stunning prints, even the one that went wrong, still has virtues and is stunning too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Thanks Mags. I still like it too!
Lovely peaceful and satisfying printmaking. Very interesting that you take us through your process of trial and error. I loved the first print too and felt you could continue to work into it. Great stuff thank you
thank you!
Yes, Not all prints are going to be something you like. There's quite often a lot of 'yucks' in the play session.
Have fun when you start playing!
One more thing, I would be using that stamp on nearly everything too, if it were in my stash. It is very cool. Use it lots!

Can't understand why you were so disappointed with the first and second pulls. They look to me just like the partial remains of a medieval wall painting. Loved them. Thanks for sharing; have subscribed.
Thank you so much. I was really disappointed at first. Cause it would have been a super awesome print. But I have grown to love it just as it is.
I thought so too
I like how you use different things..thanks
Thanks! It's fun trying different items to see what print you'll get.
Oh shoot, you did this years ago! 🤦

Never will I use a heat tool on the Gelli Plate. Thanks for sharing.
I'm assuming that's why it didn't work.
This was fascinating to watch! I’ve not done any geli printing but am very interested in how it is done! Love your voice over - so soothing!
THank you so much. Gel printing is fun and addictive! You've been warned if you decide to give it a try.
I love your use of layering. Thank you for the inspiration.
Thanks so much!
Fun session. I don't think the yellow circles in your flowers showed up because they would have been on the bottom layer below the blue when you did your final print. All these prints turned out beautifully. Even the ones off that little five-by-five plate.
Yes, another person pointed that out too. So clever. I didn't even think of that! lol Thanks so much!!!
Agree...what is last is on the bottom...
@@DeniseLush maybe next time wipe away the paint and then add the yellow, I watched the beginning of you video 4 time watching you peel the old paint off your brayer.
@@bridgethaig8923 LMAO! I think my brayer is ready for another peel, but I'm waiting to do it on video for everybody! Lol How weird is that? lol
I was able to pull prints after. Just not that first pull. Wasn't meant to be I guess. but it does look wonderful as is.
Thanks
Love watching you gelli print, Im not that adventurous with my gelli plate really should just go for it, thank you for sharing
Yes you should! Use inexpensive paper so you don't feel like you're 'wasting' paper if you like. And don't forget that sometimes when you pull a print you may not like it as a whole but if you cut it into pieces, you may LOVE it!
Thanks so much for watching.

Great video and thanks for some great ideas.
lmao thanks so much! At least you're still having fun!

Thanks Rachel. So what should i give it a good cleaning with? Soap and water? Baby wipe?
Hi Denise, yes a baby wipe or water and artist soap, just to get the excess off. Then the baby oil will get the rest off as you massage it in. Let it sit for a while and rinse again. Leave to dry. Hope this helps

Yes I will. I have had this request from another person as well. Just trying to think of some ideas for some stamps I would like to make and I will get to it!
So sad your first print didn't work out. Maybe next time, just put on the paper, and let the paint dry while the paper is on.
Awesome! Thank you!
Those dried paint strips can be collaged back onto art. They lend amazing texture.
yes totally agree
Ok I think what you think is a fail is beautiful. You can put picture in the blank spaces. Fall is what I’m thinking with the colors. I love it.
Thank you so much!

Gorgeous! Have you tried cleaning the 5"X5" gelli with baby/mineral oil?
Lol
Thank you so much for your comment and compliments!

English is not my native language, sorry, hope you understand my description :)... much love.,

Ok, thank you!
ALL THE NEXT GELLI PRINTS CAME OUT SO GOOD.....WHY DO YOU USE THIS WHITE COLOR ON THE END AND WHAT IS IT.....TFS.....:)
It's just acrylic paint. All the other layers are dry (cause you let it dry between each layer). Then you need to add a layer of paint or gel medium to pull(all the layers) the print.
Pronounce the name like Beer-get. But more like " git on outta here" for the last part of the name. I love my name. Loved what you created btw
oh okay. I thought it was more like Beer -geet. Thanks for that!
I'm just soon going to start saying " You know that gelling printing woman I admire!" lol

@@DeniseLush I love it - and it is fun to discover new people. I find that I love watching a lot of women, and go back to them all the time, but then something interesting pops up and I'm off and watching! LOL!

Thank you Lisa,
I'm not sure exactly what you're asking.
Just curious- why don't you use a (clean) brayer on the back of the final paper pull? Does it tear the paper? I'm new. Love your video!!

No reason. I just feel I can apply more pressure and the barren feels better in my hand. You could use a brayer if you prefer.
It's cool, though. It didn't come out the way you wanted, but it reminds me of an old wall that had a mural on it and some of the mural came off. I love it.
oooooh Thanks for making it sound so cool! lol
Beautiful.what is last layer?
just a layer of paint!
Denise Lush my colors don’t print all of them stay on glass🥺
Denise Lush thanks I’ll try again I think it was too thick 🙄
I noticed that you used a barren to rub the back of the paper before pulling the print. Can you recommend a brand, or say where to get a good barren.?

I'm guilty of doing that also. lol Too funny!
I think the first print was beautiful, even though you didn't get it all. You could always cut parts out and use it to collage on a page.
What you're doing here looks like reverse printing. What you add to the plate first, will show up at the top of the print. The reason why you didn't see the yellow marks was because it's behind the blue acrylic paint 😉
I really like your foam stamps. What do you use to cut them out with? I've ordered some craft foam sheets a couple of days ago which is on it's way and I think this is an awesome idea for using them!
Thanks Danielle!
