    I really enjoy your channel and I have a really big Gelli plate that I have yet to use! I think it’s going to be awesome! Love the prints you pulled and the great results of adding the Payne’s gray and Vandyke brown!💕🇨🇦

      Wasn't that wild Cindy?! I really did not expect those results from those colors-it's exactly why I love gel printing so much!

      @@PaintedPaperStudio that’s the absolute beauty of the gell plate, you never know and it’s so much fun pulling up the paper and seeing the result for the first time! I was as thrilled as you were when you turned that over, that is why it is addictive!💕🇨🇦

    Been loving my 12x12 but that is probably as big as I can get LOL! Love the writing in the journal.

      Hi Joyce! Yes, a 12x12 is a really big plate, too. I love my 16x20, but the truth is I use it 75% of the time as a giant palette 😍

    I keep mine in the original acetate and cardboard too, and the bubbles don’t matter. I love it.

      Yes - I really haven’t noticed a bubble problem either 😀

    I absolutely adore all of your content! My husband and I watch every episode and enjoy it right along with you.
    Also, I wanted to point out that your debit card information is clearly visible in a few shots and it worried us because of how things are nowadays😓 please take care of yourself and stay safe! You’re our favorite RUclipsr ❤️

      Lydia, this means so much to me! Please say hello to your husband for me 😄 - do you create art together? As for the debit card, I appreciate your concern. That account is long gone by maybe 8 years, but I will certainly be more careful in the future. Thank you so much for spending your time with me (both of you!) 🥰

    This was so much fun and interesting. I would caution, though, that you shouldn't store your plate with the original acetate it arrives in, instead use two sheets of copy paper on each side. That will prevent plate bubbles. Gelli Arts also recommends removal of the original plastic sheets and storing with copy paper on each side.

    • @PaintedPaperStudio
      @PaintedPaperStudio  Год назад

      Kathy, you are 100% right, that is exactly what the manufacturers recommend, and normally I do dispose of the plastic sheets. However, I know how rough I am on my supplies (and my studio), so I choose to protect the giant plate (and only the giant plate) this way. So far the bubbling has not shown up on my print pulls. I keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏻

    Buy a large enough plexiglass frame that has depth. Put it in there with a sheet of Mylar to cover it.

      @@PaintedPaperStudioI saw all the bubbles as soon as you removed the acetate. Maybe it just doesn’t matter since you are cutting up the prints anyway.

    Do Not use copy paper … that will stick on the plate.

      Hi Lynn - i actually use copy paper a lot - and its never stuck on the plate. I wonder if I'm using a different weight of copy paper than you?
