I recall my first trip to The Philippines, a long time ago now. What's now Terminal 1 was weeks away from opening so went into the "original" terminal. You deplaned via stairs to the tarmac and walked into the terminal. what was in effect a huge aircraft hangar, and you walked into absolute chaos. Even before passing immigration you were approached by touts for taxi, buy them duty free goods etc etc. As I said, absolute chaos. When i departed it was via the newly opened terminal, what a breeze that was. As a side note , once outside I was approached by a guy, asking if I needed a taxi, led me to the carpark by which time realised he wasn't a taxi drive. Anyway into the car, an old Holden ironically, off we went to UN Avenue. Agreed to a PHP20 fare, later told that was a bargain. Anyway I had a great trip needless to say.

is there a free shuttle bus transfer from T1 to T2 (and other terminals)? i think it's the one in between the simcard shops and the ATM machines, right?
The Manila Airport Authority provides a free shuttle service to other terminals if you have a connecting flight. There are so many airports, the easiest thing to do is just ask at the information desk for the airport you are at. That will ensure that if things change temporarily you will still get the correct information. But PAL has its own shuttle service so you can ask on the plane and the crew will be able to tell you. Thank you for the question.
Thanks for the question mate. The last time i used a booking counter. The GRAB service agent said they don't book vehicles, they only provide advice on how to set up the app and book to your destination. Unlike hotels where the staff will book it on their phone and you pay cash at your destination. The other thing worth noting is that counters in the PH can not be trusted to be manned e.g. taxi counter. If you want to consider this option and other options, one thing you could do is use the airport Wi-Fi to book on the app, and talk with the driver in the app telling him that you are across the road and will walk over when he is near (You will lose Wi-Fi when leaving the terminal), at least you will have his details to be watching for. Overall i would not chance losing the driver on arrival, id get a SIM or and ESIM before arrival. Hope it helps.
