Thanks for your comment, My first priority is a good hotel stay, then I think about the area. I don't have any issues with the area, but some people fear the area, or just don't like the poverty there. So i understand where you are coming from. It's very easy to get a cab to and from your hotel if you don't want to walk in the streets. One night I was leaving at 2:00 am to go to the 7/11, and the security guard said he would walk with me. A nice gesture which goes to the service quality of this hotel. Is the restaurant you are referring to the Aristocrat ? If it is, then yes it's nearby.

You bet, compared to Thailand the hotels in the Philippines are poor value for money. Thanks for commenting.

@bwilliam6827 I travel between both. Sometimes I capture video but it takes me a few days or weeks to get them edited. I dont necessarily post them sequentially, i do however add them to a Thailand or Philippines playlist to help viewers find country specific content. ❤ thanks for the comment Mate, it would be an up market stay for sure. I tend to stay elsewhere because I'm a light sleeper and need a quiet environment. But otherwise I would certainly stay there.

Thanks for the comment. I really enjoy that bar, and there are times when it's a lot busier. I think most Thais there will be visitors at night, so not wanting to get wet. During the day you will see resident couples swimming there. The hair thing and inability to swim are real too 😂. I must admit I didn't even swim in my own hotel pool which was nice too.

@Looseefer It will be great. Make sure you are fully charged and have some time killing apps to play in case you're processed super quick. You are very close to the airport - You're smart. The hotel may have a shuttle. I think Grab and taxis will be abundant. PS love the name 👹
