I love this unit. I can only suggest one improvement... the shutter doors on the stackable washer / dryer cabinet. When these doors are opened they should be allowed to slide inward, into the space between the w/d units and the cabinet sides. This would provide unrestricted access on each side while loading and unloading the washer and dryer. Thanks for reading.
Great video Chuck loving the new format (I am enjoying how you put the personal touch on the videos)! Can you please talk about key differences between Showhauler & Renegade coaches? I am asking for nothing negative but just key differences in the ordering processes or offerings. I believe there are a few of us that would like to see or hear of their contrast if any.
Some people might think the interior, cabinetry, fittings etc. in this coach are too plain but from what I see in the video the quality looks sublime. Nothing bloated or glitzy like the decor of most higher-end diesel pushers. I just wish I could drive this behemoth even if I had the money to pay for it! Excellent video.
Great video... It isn't easy covering a vehicle such as this in detail. If you try to rush through people will say you went too fast and vice a verse they'll complain it was too much and boring. You can't win. I'd rather complain about too much than not enough... My thought after viewing this was why not a trash compactor VS the trash can? That and I do have to agree about that TV placement. It looks like a great spot until you sit down to watch it. That's it... I've watched the exterior and the interior. No I just have to hope I'm the lucky winner, a real Long shot w/o you running a contest!
Love this format and great to see such a thoughtful presentation.. would love to get into that two hour video you talked about in the cab .. I just want To know if this is something I can drive and tour the country on my own when I retire int 3 years
Just looking on your website and I see you have this model up there with all the specs and photos, nice job and this beast I see has the 600 HP DD16 Detroit 1,850 ft. lb engine. One sweet vehicle.
Just to let you know Show Hauler has an entire steel frame all around it , My show Hauler has a 12 foot garage in the back 45 ft. Long , and it has a 40,000 pound hitch , And sleeps six people . This coach cost a little bit more than most , but in my way of thinking it is the very best you can buy .
If I remember correctly from a video I have seen Showhaulers go for anything from $350k to $500k depending on what you want doing but even that is still cheaper that a similar spec renegade for what is a much more custom coach with a better fit and finish.
I’m just here dreaming, but I’d like two garbage, one for recycling, one for garbage, a coffee bar, or butler pantry!! Need counter space beside both sides of the stove with “garage style” pantry for toaster, blender ect. King bed, with large “nightstands”, different color choices f led ambient light, purple, white, blue, red, orange!! Heated floor, heated towel rack, cubby spots in cedar closet!! Heated, massage, plush leather seats!! Love your coaches!! Wish I could get one!! Absolutely Gorgeous!! I’d be getting two, one for my parents to retire with, and one for me, and a smaller one I’d like to help (gift) one to, to someone who can’t afford one!!
Suggestion for you Chuck and crew. I understand showhauler assembles a higher level of structure and uses unique to the industry construction throughout. I saw a video somewhere where a a Showhauler rolled on its side (crushed a car) and after being uprighted just drove away with a damaged slide section and simple cosmetic damage! It would be good if you could include the structural and safety details that make Showhauler special on one your exterior or upcoming videos. This seems to be the next level of Class Cs. Really enjoyed this video! Much appreciated!
If you do a search on youtube there are some great factory tours of showhauler. Were the russos have one that covers a a lot of the process and structure
It's a really nice camper, I have to say it's really appealing and beautifully done. There is one thing I do not think is smart that you have to hang your jacket above and in front of the door, it seems to be much better with a little wardrobe next to the door, which I think is missing, just an idea.
On this chassis a bunk over cab would only be 8 inches in height. Even if you had an anorexic family member to put up there, claustrophobia would kill her before malnutrition
I've watched a couple Show Hauler videos and was very impressed with their construction. Is this like the ones with aluminum box construction I've seen? It's industry leading in the event of a rollover.
Always loved the showhaulers and renegade. Now you have done it! Fresh and waste tanks still in a none freeze zone I hope. With show haulers what I loved was steel reinforced framing on units and of course the slide out on kitchen. Will you do island counters? Love the no air mattress as well. Great job of excellence!
As my wife and I are currently looking to aquire a coach of this kind (currently looking from a used Prevost to Dynamax to IWS - Used on the first to new on the later (leaning real strongly to IWS from what i'm seeing even with the build time)), my question is, if, while driving a long section of four-lane, under ideal conditions, can my wife get up in this thing and put on a pot of coffee? How many slide outs come standard, and can i add an extra water tank (with a sink mounted faucet) to separate my good well water that we use for drinking (coffee, tea and cooking) from the normal water used for doing dishes and taking showers (there is a difference) at least for us. What can I expect the general cost to be for a configuration (+/_) on what we're seeing here? Thanks for your imput. Scottishxpride, TX.
I enjoyed the video, although I did have to skip ahead now and then. Yes Chuck, you do talk a lot but if I had cash or credit in hand to buy then it would be a different story. I love the leather seating, granite counter tops, lot's of storage throughout and the bathroom in the bedroom is so big...I don't think I have seen one that big before. PS - I didn't see an oven...did I miss that part? Thanks Chuck
Is there a cover for the stairwell when the rv is in motion, to prevent someone from falling down into the stairwell? Otherwise, great video, very innovative coach. Thx
Showhauler has my vote on a Mack Anthem Chassis ... Someday Soon.. But is this the only IWS Showhauler? It’s now August 2020, and have only seen this one....
@@StarPartners This may have been a Trade In they were doing the video on, as their website only lists Renegade models and nothing else...at least from what I'm seeing over on IWSSALES.com that is!
Only downside for me was the front tv. Doesn’t look like a comfortable place to view tv from the couch. Otherwise beautiful coach. And good job describing all the features.
The chopping board looks to be a little challenging to use properly due to the reduced height and hang angle. It would help if it were on a rail system with height adjustment, the slot cut out design seems out of place considering the rest of the coach.
i know how hard it is to pick the right music for video. Opt for bumper music only with highlights here and there like when changing scenes only but never run a 20+ min with rolling music throughout. Hope this helps. otherwise great machine there man.
Man .... I came to this after looking at the new Winnebago 40,42,45 and I must say your MH looks classic and yet its brand new??? I bet you could market that as a "TimeBox" rolling out the best looks and trends of the 80's..... Maybe your on to something?
They should do since with Showhauler they will build, within reason, any floorplan you want. You can choose whatever flooring you want, whatever finishes you want, if you don't have the budget for a coach with a brand new chassis you can even take them a used chassis for them to build on if it has the right specs etc. Showhauler uses a full welded steel frame construction to make the box and even have proof of one of there coaches being involved in a rollover and the coach was still driveable after being put back on it's wheels all it had was some slide room damage. If you type in on youtube "showhauler factory tour" there is a video doing a full factory tour going through the process of them building a coach. Also they should cost less than a renegade since in that factory tour video the owner, Lonnie, said the price for a showhauler is between $350k and $500k but this was about 2 years ago so the prices might have gone up I don't know.
I am 25 minutes into your video. You mentioned about 15 minutes in that you were finished with the living area, yet you had not showed the bathroom, bedroom. Also can you order the dinette with ability to convert to an extra bed? Also the dual set of rear tires, do the front of the dual set turn with the front tires?
I believe if I remember correctly this is the first motorhome that they went with showhauler. I don't know, my opinion I think I like the Renegade layout better and Cabinetry lol. The outside looks really nice but the passenger side should be mostly empty cubbies but if I remember correctly on the exterior video, there was like two or three Cubbies that we couldn't even use. And the interior on this one I don't like the sinks they're so small even my wife didn't like it, the half bath is so tiny I just wasn't really impressed with the inside. In fact even with the slides all the way out, I expected it to be bigger inside. my motorhome has three slides and the living room area is huge much bigger than this one on the width anyway. I'm sure the future ones we'll catch up to the Renegade product, and again that's just my opinion, someone else might loved the layout. it just seems so small inside for 45 ft, the inside seems like everything was all crammed in. The outside is huge lol.
Love everything about this coach. But, as a truck driver who has had to deal with the annoying noise from the side and front collision avoidance system, no thx. Trust me it won't take but a few trips before your customers will be asking for them to be removed or disconnected. Which of course can't be done unless you want to give up cruise control.
It would be a little more interesting if the music would change from time to time. About the 97 millionth time we hear the same little piece of music sort of gets on your nerves, but very very informative oh, and a beautiful beautiful coach
you keep mentioning exclusive features that you say are only offered by your company, but im a truck mechanic, and those features are from Freightliner trucks, not your company. For example, the Bendix blindspot radar, the TPMS, air ride control, collision mitigation system, etc. Not to dog on you, I know you're trying to make sales, but be honest. These features are on the Freightliner Cascadia highway transport trucks.
Jose Barbosa - Is there a chance that he means they ShowHauler/IWS ordered this coach with those options when their competitors don’t? I would guess that those are options when you purchase your semi, you can spring for them or not.
I don't know if you guys go back and watch before posting ...just know that you do not need the music ....or if you insist on having music could it be lower...we are competing to hear your very nice voice over that music ..
Reading through the comments I see I'm not alone in noticing that even these high-end, expensive Super C's have such dated looking cockpits. No large screens for views around the coach. I like the 360 camera systems and big, easy to read screens on the new Class A's. I realize analog gauges are possibly more reliable. But I'd really like to have a great view all around the coach, including the front. This is true of all the Super C builders that I'm aware of-including Newmar who just got into this segment in 2020. Is it a deal breaker? Maybe not, but it does seem odd that the Class A coach builders can take what they get from Freightliner or Spartan and turn it into something very modern looking as opposed to this.
It depends on your state. You don't need a true CDL because it is not commercial (except in Indiana and Washington DC) but some states require a special RV version of the A or B (depending on model) to make sure you understand how to safely drive something that size and weight.
You sold my motor coach shame on you, now the only way i will for give you is to make a killer of of coach i'm waiting good luck, i think IWS can do it someone got a beautiful motor coach i wish them the best
that's a nice rig but need to put all that on a 42 foot over all length wit a commons motor then you got a good super c coach that you can take it any state and don't have to get a day pass to drive in and out because its to long go figure you nee to check all laws in all stats
Factory freightliner seats suck, why anyone that has one replaces the driver seat pretty much right away. There is no 2019 C120 cascadia's being made, that's the old model cascadia. The front collision system turn off,if it's on and your on cruse control on,car cuts in front of you the system will slam the brakes on,it's not really fun, think about that if you're on wet or icy roads and the vehicle slams its brakes on. If your air pressure drops to 65psi alarms come on,at 60 your brakes will start applying becuse your about to lose air pressure ie: no brakes...dude your going to get some rich guy killed if you give advise on driving that. You can get an upgraded wood steering wheel, and other stuff to make the drivers area much nicer, chrome shop. If you can get a peterbuilt chassis then you can get the cummings x15 there engine can be up 610 hp factory. You can shift it manually by moving the lever (on the right) and you will need to use that if you haul 80,000..alot of new truck drivers have been burning up brakes going down 5% grades and letting the truck shift, few fatality too...I again urge anyone buying one of these take a cdl class, you may be masters of whatever multimillion-dollar business you but your in a different world now driving something that big and heavy.
I have to agree, it's a little unnerving to see him talk about the truck and not even mention the potential dangers of improper operation all the while showing you a potentially improper way to operate it.
I'm old school. I have never owned a car with an automatic. Boring... Can you get this Freightliner with a 15 speed or an 18 speed manual? Also in my Cascadia I have NO blind spots. If you have the fender mirror that they offer, and you have them correctly adjusted you can see a kid on a tricycle near your right front wheel, and anywhere else on the right or left side. Now if you have the mirrors tuned to look at the side of your rig or at birds, airplanes and sky, all bets are off.
Structurally and style, this is a very nice motor home. On the other hand, the interior is quite dull. Just wondering why the A class motor homes tend to be much more imaginative and classy.
I love this unit. I can only suggest one improvement... the shutter doors on the stackable washer / dryer cabinet. When these doors are opened they should be allowed to slide inward, into the space between the w/d units and the cabinet sides. They had one of those at the Hershey rv show. The Cascadia cab reminds me of the Cascadia tractors I've driven.

that's a nice rig but need to put all that on a 42 foot over all length wit a commons motor then you got a good super c coach that you can take it any state and don't have to get a day pass to drive in and out because its to long go figure you nee to check all laws in all stats
You can spec it to any length. Showhaulers are fully customizable. You will have to give up something to get it at 42 feet though.
Have you considered the ultra steer tag axel?
SÜPER...
I think I'd buy a 10lb bag of sh*t from this guy. Love his style and approach.
That appears to be a National seating front seating. I believe the standard Seat for the Cascadia is the Isri but you can get other seat models.
I like the Isri better as it is a higher seat back than the National seating.
I have to agree, it's a little unnerving to see him talk about the truck and not even mention the potential dangers of improper operation all the while showing you a potentially improper way to operate it.
more view less talk ?
Carl Stout and KILL the annoyingly repetitive music!
best i ever seen !!!
Showhauler will build on the chassis of your choice. You can even bring them a used truck, although it has to meet appropriate weight specifications.
Structurally and style, this is a very nice motor home. On the other hand, the interior is quite dull. Just wondering why the A class motor homes tend to be much more imaginative and classy.
How much
Yeah, what is the MSRP on this beast?
Too much
