Do you need a CDL to drive this? I'm pretty sure their GVWR is greater than 26k lbs. NVR mind, they answered that question at the end
@@NewsRetort you don't need the commercial drivers lic. you need the non commercial one they have the same classes for the same GVWR you just can't use it to make money driving trucks
where is the factory located?
@@bleeckertb the factories for TRUCK CONVERSION RV's are all in the same area - Indiana.
@@NewsRetort lll lol loop
There a reason ShowHauler let you videotape the tour, nobody else makes RVs like this. These look almost indestructible!
+Rob Graff exactly right.
Hey Russos, Here is the guy who explains everything about the product.. I was so disappointed in another video just few mins back and I closed it.. I love this guy.. Glad that you have him with you.. I will continue watching this.. Convey my best to him too.. Obviousley, you are one of my favs! :-D
I never cared for this type of RV until seeing this tour and it has changed my mind from only thinking class A. What a great lesson thank you
Only this company would let you film inside their factory. That speaks volumes about their quality.
+ncplantdoctor we couldn't agree more. We did a couple tours previously and had we shown a side by side comparison you'd be blown away at the differences.
That was an amazing tour! I’ve worked in the RV industry for a large part of my life and no way was a camera coming in! And I love how customizable the unit is! Thank you for this!
Any comments on Renegade Classic conversion?
Awesome that they can turn any chassis into a Showhauler. I would love to see the 389 Peterbilt finished. Hopefully the customer added more chrome and lights to the finishing touches! I'm glad to see both builders and customers take pride in their ride!
Russo’s I only found you recently, the very first of the type I saw was an AUSTRALIAN unit, at my age don’t think I’ll get anything,,also 1.5 Million on the roads , wife Not interested either, but I’ll tell you , this tour , was the greatest thing I’ve seen, Company , very proud and shows everything, from base up. Thanks so much for this video ,.
This is the absolute best video I have ever seen! As far as the knowledge I have now from this fine gentleman when I get richer this will be the people I will buy my motor home from!
The factory gets major points for such an excellent tour, explanations, and willingness to be videoed.
+Dale Dickinson 👍
That 43mins went by like 12mins Kait & Joe! I was totally fascinated by his presentation-he was very knowledgeable & articulate! He touched upon so many diff aspects of the construction process, I actually lost count! You guys have done A LOT of great videos, but this one currently ranks as my favorite! Please don't ever change how you do vids, and most importantly, don't ever change your personalities...you guys are as BADD ASSSS, as these vehicles are lol! This vid earns 3 cheers from me 🍻🍻🍻
Word!
Thanks Roberto...thought you might enjoy this one! After seeing other factories, we were amazed at how these were built and the attention they gave everything. No plans on changing what we do or how we do it!
BTW - Kait wanted to know if you like this one more than the Leo vid???
+We're the Russos Well, first let me say that im glad you guys have no plans to become "personalities"! Two, don't let Leo know this, but he's the REAL CELEBRITY of the trio lol! Tell Kait no, The Leo vid(s) are the best! I put this current video into a diff category, in which its #1!
This guy is a pro... He doesn't care what his competitors do.. He knows, his business, his abilities and he is ready to expolore any possibilities... Though the video is old, none of you are old.. I do not know why I am enjoying this... Was this because of the Russos or the guy who fearlessly explaining the build !! Please le me know his YT Channel, so that I can follow him...
Welded steel box instead of aluminum like a competitor - nice!
The most Honest factory I have ever seen!
An incredible video. By far the best factory tour I have ever watch. Great job and Thank You. 👍
Wow, thank you so much!
Totally agree. This factory vid is the BEST i've come across. I enjoyed how he's knowledgable and informative on the why they put it together the way they do.
Probably the best tour I've seen to date, well done guys. You asked loads of relevant questions and he was so accommodating. Bye bye Newmar, hello 4x4!
+Rich T. Thank you Rich!
I have my eye on Newmar (though your comment on its insulation gives me pause) but the construction of this Super C just makes me drool... For full-timing, in Canada, this looks SO much sturdier and warmer than a factory class A, even Newmar. And this is the first builder I see who's used to customizing as much as what I have in mind, too.
Now on to find a half-mil under the couch cushions. :-)
We went to the Newmar factory and then headed here and made the video...I wouldn't spend the money on a Newmar after seeing what these guys are doing...especially considering that a similarly equipped Newmar would cost as much or more than a ShowHauler.
***** I was possibly going to settle for a Bay Star (not Sport though), but if I could reach for a Dutch Star, yes these guys are very impressive. I want something that can survive -30°C and not disintegrate on bumpy roads. The truck up front is way overkill though...
I liked the vid very much! I'm one of those people who would go the ShowHauler route just because the thing seems to be built like a TANK!. Am liking that big time. I would guess winter and summer RVing would be great in this rig.
If you're going over the road? I would go the truck cab. Much more comfortable and safer. I used to drive a straight truck and I loved it. Fully loaded with the cab totally maxed out for comfort. Trust me If you could swing it? That's the way to go.
I hit like so it would help you make more 💰💰💰 for your new Showhauler, enjoyed the video. Those rigs are lifetime RV,s
+Randall Hall awesome, thank you for the support and please feel free to share the video with others.
This was so engaging. He was so knowledgeable. I felt like I just watched the best show hauler masterclass of my entire life. I could listen to him all day. What a treat! The quality of care. The professionalism. He made me super excited! Thank you a thousand times for this! I do have questions, I do want to know what is the insurance on these, the depreciation value, the ccc.
Excellent tour and explanation of everything. As a past fabricator/builder myself, I'm impressed and this is on my bucket list!!
+AZBADBOYz thank you!
only 1:40 in and I appreciate the honesty on the topic of leaking. I've heard too many salespersons telling me it will never leak, which is of course complete BS
This is the first factory tour where I felt like the manufacturer actuality whats their product to last, and cares.
Really loved this video. I always liked the idea of a Super C, but liked the looks of a A. The build quality sold me on this. And by sold, I mean if/when I can retire and afford this! :)
Thanks for doing these videos guys, much appreciated!
You're welcome and glad you enjoyed it. When (not if) you can afford something like this, we'd suggest going and scheduling a tour. They are great people and its a fun couple of hours going through there and seeing what they do!
AS soon as I win the lotto, this is the camper for me. Do not need to look at any others.
If I had the means, this is what I would buy. Beautiful RV’s.
Best RV tour I've seen yet. Kudos to you and ShowHauler
good video. impressive to see how much steel is in the structure. when not worrying about weight, you can build things simple and strong.
Thank you so much for making this video! We had a class B until this year and we have now purchased a Renegade. Needed more room for our Dobermans. Very impressed with how the Renegade is constructed!
This has to be the most informative, comprehensive RV video I have ever watched, and I've watched hundreds :D
AWSOME! SIMPLY AWSOME!!! I'm a ret. over the road driver and freight liner is my truck, (lol). Top line builder very safety minded and for only $ 500,000.00 K. can't beat it. I've watched so many RV adds and by far this is the best! Now I really need to save money to get it!!!! Thank you for filming this!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! $500k is the upper end of what these cost. If you can find a good used chassis you can save a lot. We're thinking about trying to find a good used M2 112 chassis and have it converted to 4x4.
If I may ask what is "4x4"?
It's a four wheel drive vehicle.
Is it Four Wheel drive all the time? Is it front and rear wheel drive all the time? Isnt it consuming too much power-Gasoline I mean diesel?? How about being noisy compared to a nice Diesel Pusher (as the Newmar KingAire that we talking about on your other video)? Please elaborate if you can. By the way, you guys are an adorable couple.
its 4 wheel drive because you can lock the two rear axels, the front is not a drive axel
Great segment, well done and very informative! Thanks for the tour!
+NewBeRVer you're welcome glad you enjoyed it.
I like the end of the video we're actually driving the semi truck. It seems to be a smooth ride
+Andrew King it wasn't as smooth as a big diesel pusher but it felt a lot more like driving a SUV than a bus.
That coach is awesome.
+Larry Putman 👍
Thanks ShowHauler. Great job Russos.
Well it took me 2 days to get through it but that was the best video every. Great hosts and great talent. Most genuine representative I've seen yet. Only a company with the best product can be that open.
What a quality manufacturer. Love it! Im impressed.
THIS IS BY FAR A REAL, REAL FACTORY TOUR, Even through your a little wet behind the ears, Going as slow as you were , Not coming to a complete stop !
Wow! I am not easily impressed, but I am over the Moon with envy over these!! You can't put a price on safety...can you??? Sweeeeeet ride!!! Awesome interview/tour! Really loved being up close and personal with these builds! I don't know of any manufacturers who would show us EVERYTHING!!!! A name that you can trust! The proof is right here! Thanks so much!! Happy trails!!
Definitely very strong and safe.
The best RV factory tour I have ever watched. The very unique RV built and I believe the safest in the RV industry. When I buy sth I always want to know that how its build? What material is used? That is the reason I do not like much of RVs. But this one is very good if it can be solar powered then no comparison of it in the market. I believe the safest in the RV industry. I did not know that they work for NASA. Why not to use spring tyres?
Outstanding video! You were asking the same questions I had. Watched the whole thing and time just whizzed by.
+Michelle Van Fossen glad you enjoyed it and that we were able to answer your questions.
Great vid. Thanks for taking the time to make it awesome
You're very welcome and thank you for watching!
So interesting, thank you for doing this video. Now I want a Showhauler
Now I want a tour too! The owner looks so open to explain every step of the process.
Talk about well built...awesome vehicle and the workmanship appears to be topnotch with a lot of thought into the planning!
We were kinda shocked at the price tag between 350-450. Granted that isn't cheap but considering the cost of other RV's in the same class, its much better built and much less expensive.
Thank you for the Chinese culture information, Kait! Friends have two daughters adopted from China and I'm sure the information will be helpful. Glad you left the camera outside the shower, Joe. 😊
You're very welcome! And the camera stays out of the shower...most of the time...
Love these Showhaulers. There's a reason why so many race teams use these robust RVs.
Yep - look at who is buying these to tell you how good they are.
they buy renegade as well....which is just as god if not t tad bit better...
Im so impressed with the quality of these motorcoaches!
I love this guy!
100% Enlightening. I think they're the best.
We have a Renegade Super C toy hauler which is essentially the same thing just different manufacturer, all custom (although we bought it used) it is absolutely wonderful, safety was the big thing and the ability to go up and down hills and not being blown around on the road and the ability to stop... was the selling factor. Going down the road there is no sway, the air ride seats and the air ride on the chassis makes it very comfortable, it does get some attention when we take it places, absolutely love it. There are limited manufacturers that do super C but ShowHauler was one we were looking at. Great video.
We looked at the Renegades too (check out our video if you haven't) and thought they were really nice as well. That semi truck chassis makes such a difference!
I didn't realize you had done one on Renegade, I will look. Ours is the 45' with 10' garage 515 Detroit Columbia Chassis. It really does make for a stable nice ride, however the turn radius is... well the song "give me 40 acres and I'll turn this rig around..." comes to mind.... I think a Class A turns a little tighter.
For the record we really really like the expedition vehicles, but just wouldn't fit our needs...
WOW! EXCELLENT TOUR! (yes, I was yelling!)
LOL Glad you enjoyed it. We heard you all the way in Illinois. :)
very cool. learned something new. i like it. awesome video guys.
Glad you enjoyed it Phillip!
Great tour guys, really liked that one. Excellent roll/bounce test while hangin off the side of it, that's the same way I test'um, good job !!
Thanks! I've learned that jumping on things is really the only way to truly test them :)
This factory is neat and clean. Impressive.
It seems that Showhauler or Renegade would be the RV's to have
Great video with a lot of really good info. Thanks
You're welcome!
Great tour. Glad to see they are using OSB and not particle board (sponge board) on there wall sheathing. Great idea having a basement. Makes so much more storage although it does make the unit higher. Drop ceiling - great idea for retrofit addons. Kinda like a Class A/C. Very nice units but a little above my pay grade. Thanks for posting.
You're very welcome and glad you enjoyed it. The build quality on these is beyond anything we've seen in the high end class A's.
Carlton McEachern I
First of all, let me be the first one to congratulate you on 45,024 subs 👊🏻!
Funny, but since I've been rewatching all your vids, I've had the chance to break them up into categories! Leo has his own special category lolol!
Thank you! It's very exciting and once we hit 50k, we will start to get some more support from RUclips. It's exciting!
You guys are HOOKED!!!
Pretty much!
I LOVE how they build their units! I would actually feel secure in ordering something custom from them and know I was buying quality! Even with similar Super C's they don't come close in quality. I was just looking at one that was over 550k and it had stapled cabinetry, I said that just cost you a sale!
That was a great tour. Thank you!
great video, now to roll up the sleeves and get to work to have one built for us.
+mowguy fudd lol - the hard part is gong to be figuring out what you want!
Outstanding !!
Wow, I totally want this product now. Great energy making the video by the salesman. Now what chassis and power plant do I want?
That was very informative and well done video!
These things are better built than many homes!
Wow! Really cool!
WOW Thank you , lots of real good info. , like I say next summer maybe Ill order one around a 40 ft.
+seaworthy48 if you do we'd love to see it when you take delivery!
Very good review and video.
cool I have been looking at these for a while now great tour and the guide was awesome and super nice. I want one.
+john haymer if you decide to pull the trigger - ask for Lonnie and tell him the Russos sent you.
cool video
Totally awesome video and very informative...now I just have to hit the lottery...tks for sharing
+Bill Falabella ha! We wish you all the luck!
Off to buy my lottery ticket so I can get one. :-)
+debinvenice 😄 if you win and get one, can we come check it out?
Of course but I was planning to get one for you as well. Custom 4x4 RVs for everyone!!!
+debinvenice awesome! You rock. 👊
Back at cha!
Raises hand 🤚🏻 can I have one Too? 😁
Thank u for filming for all to see. Very enjoyable and educational. Like more manufacturer to have option where car can b inside. Wonder how TESLA will fit in the RV industry!! The future is bright!
Aqui de Portugal. 1000 Estrelas!
PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT
+vegasdavetv figured you'd like this one.
This guy is awesome. Wish I could afford one of these
Very good video thk u for sharing many questions answered
+Red bear Alaska you're welcome!
Man & Ma’am, I became an instant fan of you two! I just Sub’d and hope you still are out there. We are just getting ready to embark on RVing after 45 year careers. We will full time for 18-24 months and then settle down in a new home somewhere we desire we deserve to live out our second half of life. Then we will travel part time and I will have a fabrication shop part time, and train PTSD dogs and have a youth missions ministry full time, the Good Lord willing! I might even share it on RUclips...
You guys are AWESOME!
I LOVE this Video ... Thanks 😆😆😆
4x4 for us as well. Great info...
Nice tour, nice RV. Definitely Super C for me. Now off to get that cash.
very interesting, thanks for the upload...
You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it.
+1. .. Got'a luv the motor coach builder who show's the underbelly of their manufacturing. .. Its a hoot watching Mr. Lonnie whom confidently discusses the coach inner workings, with detail. .. "The devil is in the details" .. The shop ShowHauler presents a solid motor coach build ...er Super C. .. As we learn more and more of the $1 million + level coach's ... Not yet sold about the bus conversions with nothing between the drivers seat and an accident. .. The Super C architecture begins life with the chassis/engine collision engineered aspect - as with over the road fleet CDL semi-trucks which the Super C class coach segment is based. .. Would luv to see SIPS panels, or SIPS panel like structure utilized in a high performance coach somehow?? The air infiltration into the conditioned area of the coach would be NIL. .. Zip zero 0. .. Big acoustic performance aspects too .....There's gotta be a market for a High Performance coach. .. and not H.P. measured by the amount or color of the granite interior. ..
Couldn't agree more - we really appreciate the safety aspect, especially appreciate it after meeting a couple who hit a deer in their pusher and ended up having to replace the entire front cap of the coach, including the windscreen!
Great tour!!! Thanks!!!
+Kenneth Sievers you're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it Kenneth.
Awesome tour thanks...
+mr magoo You're welcome!
Excelente tour y bienvenidos a Colombiaaaa.jejjejjejejee.
I totally want one
The Bald guy from Show Hauler is my new hero !! when can I get my freight liner RV !!
Hello folks. If you are going to spend that kind of money, what is another what 10-15k to get the 4x4? If you did, just think of all the extra exotic places you would be able to go. Also have you folks looked at or heard of the Earth Roamer? It will be smaller, but it is built much better! But u fortunately cost the same or more! But weighs a lot less and gets better mileage and will fit in more areas! If you look into them you will agree they are much cooler! Earth Roamer built in believe in Colorado.
+Kevin Voyer thanks - we've seen the Earthroamers but they are double the price and we can't even afford the ShowHauler! They are definitely cool but you give up a lot in order to weigh less and get better mileage. Given their smaller size and limited features, not sure we could live full time in one.
Have you seen the new earthroamer? IT COSTS $1,500,000 for a 100k f750 with a $150k camper shell on the back it's honestly ridiculous how much they are charging for it.
AWESOME VIDEO.!!
I WANT A 4X4 OVERLAND SHOWHAULER..
Great video, Safety was one of the reasons we chose to do a fifth wheel over a class A. If we were to go to a motorcoach I think this is the way we would go! Hope you guys are well, wish we coulda met up when we were down there.
Thanks guys! We're doing well. Didn't realize you were so close to us, would have been great to meet up.
That WAS awesome! A full review of 4x4 coming?
Thanks for the tour 👍👍🇦🇺
No problem 👍
Amazing tour. ShowHauler is extremely impressive. I'll have to at least investigate them. Don't know that I can afford one, but looks as though a used ShowHauler may trump a new one by many other manufacturers. Wow! :-)
+Neal Davis thanks! If you're interested in meeting/touring ShowHauler let us know and we can send you their contact info.
Thank you for the offer, Joe. I presented the option to Ginger and she turned it down without discussion. Some battles aren't worth fighting and this may be one of those. ;-)
That's one tough rig
It's amazing that these only cost $350k-$500k anyone that chooses a similarly price Class A over this needs to rethink what they are doing because for a completely custom coach with so much safety, amazing build quality and last but certainly not least a 40k lbs towing capacity $500k (top end) is nothing. For a $500k Class A you would be lucky to get 20k lbs towing capacity, very minimal custom options(if any) and the safety is certainly not there, also don't forget that with most Class A's you would be lucky to get 200k miles out of them without major repairs.
We want the 4x4 to, the one you drove would work just fine though
That 4x4 is awesome and we've been dreaming about it ever since we saw it :) Will post our walk-through later this week.
Nice. Really custom trucks. I want the expedition vehicle
+Ariel N (A) your speaking our language. 👍
Excellent presentation! It would nice if the Russos can do an update tour with the latest manufacturing technology by Performance Motorcoaches.
After watching the video I'm really struggling to think why anybody would choose a Class A over a custom Super C, I really do. Amazingly it is cheaper too, to pick a Super C tailored to your specific needs and preferences!
good job 👍🏼
+Rick LaLande Thank you.
