Good video. I didn't see you mention the 4313 Iron Ranger Indian Motorcycle colab. I really like mine. They are an 8 inch like the harvester and have a little smaller toe cap then the regular Iron Ranger. I have a pair of the black Munson police boots (8840). I got some nice resoles done by Northern Republic on a few pairs of mine 👍

I’ve only been a RedWings owner for 3 weeks and I’m already buying my second pair lol! At first I thought about the Amber Harness to contrast my Black Harness but went with the Copper 8085’s instead. Hope I made the right choice? I’ve been told break in will be a little tougher than my 8084’s have been, which for me, break in has been pretty darn easy. Glad to hear you say they’re easy to take care of, patiently waiting for the RedWings store to call and tell me they’ve arrived.
Great video as always my man! My 8114’s to this day are still my most comfortable boot! My 4556’s are great too, and the leather on them is very similar to copper rough and tough, which is why I never pulled the trigger on the 8085’s even though the sole is different...

They made 1000+ pairs and you can still get them in stores in Copenhagen and Germany. I passed on them last week and went for the IR in Alpine Portage.

Mines are 04556 " Iron Ranger Antique Brown", 3 speed hooks and a full vibram lugs sole. My favorite pair, broken in well with great patina. Would love to share some pics to make you jealous...😂 lol

Awesome video! I just got my first pair, of course the 8111's. I wasn't aware of the wide variety. I'm surprised you don't own the 8126's, with that fancy toe cap. Since most of the IR's limit the occasions where you can wear it, the fancier ones could give you that option.
Just got my 8112s delivered yesterday from Singapore, been looking for a pair for years. What do you recommend I use to condition them without darkening them? Wouldn’t mind a nice shine to them, but I don’t want to darken them.

i got the 8084 for the same reason you stated, easy as hell to take care of. the leather being black all the way through definitely assists in hiding how clumsy i am and stubbing my toe all the time lmao
They call that drum/mill dyed I believe. I bought 8084s yesterday because they only had one pair left in my size for 30% off. Now I have to decide if I'm going to keep them or not.

I have a pair of IR’s in copper rough and tough and they are my best fitting Red Wings, the moc toes are a bit more difficult on a proper fit. I would love to see the Iron Rangers back in Spifire leather like the 4545. Black Klondike would also be nice but please bring back the 4545’s.

Use Blackrock on them; it’s the perfect conditioner for Oro-Legacy/Oro-iginal.
Leather Cream is what I use on mine.
