No greater feeling than catching your first fish on a new boat.
I rebuilt a bass tracker. I added an electric winch…that is a great addition with sitting way at the back….though we do a lot of cat fishing with a 9y old…..he can’t do the anchor without a button
That is a beautiful, little boat. You should be very proud of your build. I hope she gives you untold hours of happiness on the water.
Thank you very much!
hope you hav eventilation inside under that lid with the fueltank...... mix electronics and batterys with fuel....
Well done sir, well done!!
Thank you!
Just finished the series been an amazing help and loved watching it hoping to have my finished product look like this! I may be only 14 but with ur help I thing I can do it 💪🏽😁
Awesome man! You absolutely can do it! Let me know if I can be of any help
@@EverydayfishingAwesome! Just this question, how much did the hull of the boat originally cost and where do you find it? Thanks for the help!
@@connorbods1539 I bought the hull and trailer together from Facebook marketplace for $1,000. Fairly cheap because of all the work needed. I would suggest keeping an eye out on FB marketplace - there are usually lots of good deals on boats that need work!
@@Everydayfishing 😁thanks so much!
Awesome job dude! Subscribed! 🤘🏼
Thanks man!
Awesome!!
If you can buy the carb of a 50HP Force, it will swap right over and you will get a bit more top end speed
That’s a great idea!
great work I think I could have had to have extended the front casting deck. I just know I would end up taking one too many steps back. Also go Navy.
Yeah extending the deck is a good idea!
Very nice build! Did you ever hook up the wiring that is needed for the horn and the alarm horn?
@Everydayfishing
I found a 73 Sportcraft that looks very similar to yours. It’s mostly there just needs some fine tuning. The guy is offering 1000$ for it. Do you think given your refab of yours that it is worth it?
It comes with a trailer as well.
The Sportcraft is a fiberglass boat right? Tried to find a few images online. IF you can rule out any fiberglass work needed, then yes for sure it would be worth it. The transom is usually an expensive fix for that style so def check that. But just doing what I did (new floors, carpet, electrical, and outboard) was worth it so I'd imagine same goes for that one!
Is the control box you are using is compatible with 90hp suzuki?
It’s possible but I’m not sure… I specifically looked up one for a Mercury. It might work if the Suzuki has similar throttle and shifter cables
Legit! Enjoy and God bless!
How much $$ investment does something like this cost asking cause im interested in doing something very similar
The money needed will certainly vary depending on what you can buy the boat and trailer for to start with... but as far as materials go, you should budget about $5,000 in wood, carpet, hardware/wiring, and accessories (batteries, pumps, tubes, etc)
Congratulations! What’s the dimensions of the boat?
Thank you! It’s 17 feet long with a 60 inch beam.
Lk5...nice vidio
