Great video man I cant wait to see the Nitrous on there. I got a question I just got a 2001 polaris rmk800 and when I got way up in the mountains it started sputtering real bad and when I turned around and went back down it was fine so cutting out and sputtering is to rich right and to lean is bogging?
That doesnt quite seem like enough elevation to need to change the jetting but the higher you go the smaller the jets you need so your actually rich up top of the mountain. If its that sensitive you may already be too lean on the jets, i would consider raising a size or 2 to compensate regardless! 👊🤙 (i also cant wait for the nitrous!!!)
@@StupidFastJohn well when i leave my house I'm at 1800 and on top its around 6000 I didn't go all the way because it started sputtering and didn't want to blow it up but from what I read if you jet it for 3 to 6000 feet then come back down it will melt the piston down because it's so lean I have the jetting for 0 to 3000 I purchased a tempa flow kit so i can adjust it for elevation on the mountain and it automatically changes for temperature but I just wanted your opinion I know your good with 2 strokes

I edited my comment because i boogered it, the higher you go the less air you have making you richer up top the mountain. You will want to lean jets out up on mountain and richen down towards the bottom. Its hard to melt a piston though, ask me how i know 😅😭🤣👊🤙

Change and re-gap spark plug, check jetting in carb maybe something is blocked or float is sticking causes excessive amounts of fuel. Backfiring is usually a rich condition from unburnt fuel. Maybe change coil as a last resort

Yo g I just picked up a 250 kxf 2008 for 200 quid plus 50 to a mate for fuel and time
It has a brake safety switch pull the brak lever and the ignition butt should work
I tried it didnt work, i think its broken 👊🤙
