- Found this in my vhs vault, and it seems to be a slight upgrade from the ones currently found on RUclips. Going to put the Chippenham Golddiggers 'Sight & Sound In Concert' up too, so enjoy, and hope that RUclips keeps em up permanently!
That Panasonic was a fab machine. Cheers Dad! - Видеоклипы
I'm an older American and had never heard of Paul Weller, The Jam, etc., until about 3 years ago on Twitter!
I have purchased every album I can get my hands on, created a RUclips list of hundreds of videos (singles, concerts, etc.) and am still adding to it!
As a former vocalist, music director and "wild" music fan, I am very glad to have had the experiences of Weller's music over the last few years!
The young Paul Weller looked very much like my first husband, who died in an accident in our 5th year of a wonderful marriage. 💔
It has been interesting to see Paul Weller as he got older & still seeing his resemblance to my first husband but, more importantly, I have learned to love Weller's music & listen every day! 🎶💜
Gracias a Dios que lo has conocido. Yo soy un barcelonés melómano con un gusto muy variado de todas las épocas y te aseguro que pocos como Paul. Escucha prefab sproud te lo revomiendo
You might find this interesting, a youth Culture called the Mods in England listened to The Jam.
They took their style from Italy wearing tailored sharp suits, fred perry polo's beautiful shoes etc.
Riding Lambrettas & Vespa scooters .
The original Mods were 60s, with bands like Who & Kinks.
The Jam were part of the Mod revival.
A great film about them is called Quadrophenia
Dee C Lee.......stunning
Rough
She’s beautiful
@@markclitheroe900she speaks highly of you!
It’s no wonder Paul was in love with her. Talent AND beauty. Cool chick!
I know 1984 fantastic year. I met my future husband both Mods 🎯 yesterday I was 13 now I'm almost 50. Still Mods still married. How music can bring you together. Love Paul Weller absolute genius. Thank you for the Music. Xxx
Dee c Lee was stunning you can see Paul Weller had excellent taste
1984 The Style Council at its Best. Feels just like yesterday.
D.C Lee looks so stunning ❤
One of my favorite bands of all time😊
Jimmy Ruffin met Paul Weller and he sang with the Council Collective singing that song Soul Deep.
Great band,indeed
The beautiful dc lee
Weller is just unbeatable as a tunesmith. Magnificent.
Fantastic great live band and Dee looking beautiful
She is heavenly
I think one can see why Weller had the hots for her:-)
A Goddess!
She was the best looking woman of the 80s (alongside Carol Kenyon and Sheila E). She is stunning in the Club Tropicana video.
Thank you so much for posting. Miss D. Cee is superb. ♥️🎼🎧
D.C.Lee!
Nigel James I think that one could see why Weller had the hots for her:-)
@@jonathanhadley2555 Indeed, absolute stunner!
Damn he's was a sexy guy, still is at his age...like a finer wine! I'm.77 and still lusting after him. Lol.
I'm Italian, in 1984 I was 18 years old, and I was a DJ on a radio station, Style Council were all the rage, and right from their debut I immediately liked them, and thanks to them I discovered Curtis Mayfield (one of the greatest singer-songwriters of always) which Paul Weller said he was inspired in some way.
Reminds me of my early club days. Dancing like a fool with reckless abandon!
So great. Sheer and utter art. Miss the Eighties so much.
I was a fourteen year old mod back in the day watching this , what a tune
✊😎 FEEL and SOUNDS LIKE TOMORROW!🌈💥We still have to "SHOUT TO THE TOP" for PEACE and SOULCIALISM!
Dee C. Lee's dancing on that.
I much prefer this version of Shout To The Top to the swing version they often did
I actually remember watching this Tube, it was the only rival to Top Of The Pops and was compulsive viewing for me back then, apart from The Old Grey Whistle Test this was the only time you got to see live performances.
I watched it too
Eating a findus french bread pizza on a Friday night
@@user-uh9wl2zd4c nice !!, Friday was always fish and chips in our house as I was growing up
She’s beautiful…
Uma das melhores bandas que já existiu ! Saudades.

Sternstunde. Treibend. Unprätentiös. Live-Bläser im Dienst des Sounds. Danke
Fab!! Tube!! x
Old Video, muddy sound, great band. Wish 2 stay there!
Superb!
Brilliant then even better now timeless classic
Paul Eller!
Brilhante ontem,hoje e sempre.
Fantastic video quality and sound for the time. You occasionally see Weller chewing his gum. I've never understood how he can belt it out like he does and still keep the gum safe somewhere :)
Takes practice! I do it to stay hydrated I guess that’s why he does it.
He’s a mod it comes naturally…..
Thanks for posting. Great memories.
I have tears in my eyes, thank you!!
Excellent
Auténtico!! Gracias!!
What - a - gem!
Que maravillosos recuerdos. Grandísima banda con temas fabulosos
I always thought this track would have been a good choice for Live Aid...

Saudades, tenho o vinil guardado. Mas, não tenho mais o "toca disco".

fUCK ME THEY BOSSED IT!
Ibanez
Terrible sound quality
I think you may have an aversion to the actual sound of 'The Tube' because, being a sound engineer of 30+ years, I can tell you this is a pretty great balance for a mono signal. The Panasonic vhs tape was transferred to DVD by a friend in 2003 and tbh it sounds close to how it would coming out of the telly in 84.
Clean your ears out.
