      Tell me, what is the point for the West to poor in 100s of billions of USD into the most corrupt country in the world - Ukraine? Don't tell me that this is being done in the name of humanity, to save lives, to defend freedom of the Ukrainians. Ukraine will be receiving the money for as long as it is being used by the US as "anti-Russia", as a tool, a weapon to combat the Russians.
      Now, what makes you believe that the West (US/UK/EU) will treat Armenia differently? Are you willing to destroy your country fighting stranger countries' wars with Russia the way it happened with Ukraine? Are you prepared to turn 1/2 of the population of Armenia into refugees and beggars?
      In order to win, Armenia needs a strong ally and I see no other alternative to Russia here....history has shown that. Big things do not happen overnight; Chinese say that wise men rush slowly. And this is exactly what Armenia and Armenians should do. Learn from your Jewish brothers and sisters. Set a goal, mobilize resources around it and work to achieve it day and night, slowly but surely.

    I get your msg. It is full of emotions (for good reasons), and yet it lacks some realism, if not to say pragmatism, in assessing the situation and its prospects. In short, I'll recite the words of Charles De Gaulle who once said that "Great Britain is an island, France - the cape of a continent, America - another world". Armenia will never be adopted by the US, it will never become the 51 state of the USA. This means that the US politicians will be ready to bulldoze your country (the way they are doing it with Ukraine now) in order to gain their ultimate goal of weakening Russia and in the long run to trigger regime change in the country. The question is if the ordinary Armenians realize what is being prepared for them and are ready to die in the future wars instead of the US, British or French boys and girls in the uniform? I doubt that as much as most of the Ukrainians mobilized to fight the Russians are actually forced to put on the uniform.
    My point is - one has to be reasonable here. USA is many miles away and huge, mighty Russia, backed up by the equally powerful China, is just next door. It is time for the Armenian politicians to face the reality and accept the fact that they might have to choose the lesser evil, which, in my opinion is Russia, otherwise risking to repeat the fate of Afghanistan which was left behind by the fleeing Americans who simply lost appetite to continue fighting the 20year long war with the shadows. All the US, EU and the rest care about is their selfish national interests, at best. They couldn't care less about some Armenian tribes in the Caucasus mountains.

    • @antisoviet8892
      @antisoviet8892 11 месяцев назад

      @@daneglem7222 Being an Armenian, would you link the future existence of your nation with the country already "enlisted" to be the next proxy-war battlefield? Iran is a time bomb, unfortunately. Israel and US will not let Iran live in peace and it is a matter of time before they'll tear this great nation apart. Only Russia can in a longer run cement the Armenian statehood in such a hostile environment. Russia is not an enemy to Armenia, 3mln Armenians living in Russia proper, mixed marriages, shared orthodox religious values and common history is a proof to that.

    I respect Eric Hacopian very much it seems to me that sometimes he is excessively anti-government. I want him to criticize the government by giving us facts and figures and tangible reasons. Based on many accounts the government has done a good job in dealing with the sudden flux of more than 105, 000 refugees from Artsakh. However, Eric without bothering to give us persuasive evidence, accuses the government of not being competent in dealing with this humanitarian catastrophe.

    The winner stormed out of the surrender talks, that just tells you that either he does not want the surrender or he does not want the victory.
    Aliyev is now convinced that Russia is coming and is running scared of what he has got himself into. Nikol like Zelensky is banking on the west but he won't get the same response and then his a$$ will be in a sling too.
    Soon, if my predictions come true, i will be either praising Nikol for his stunning victory over western machinations or i won't have to worry about him at all.

    I have watched Eric since 2020 war. He was very objective and realistic back then, like a fresh air. Now it has unfortunately changed. I am afraid he sounds like dashnak now and I am afraid it happened after “fundraisers” in the US. Civilnet had money problems, looks like problems solved. Let me explain what I mean, before that his government accusations, West accusations and other countries were based on facts, now the are just emotional empty speeches, from analyst he became sort of propagandist with dashnak smell🤢🤢 everyone is forgetting that West never signed any document with us and hasn’t promised us anything, so yeah now he expects something extraordinary from mediocre western politicians ( Eric’s words from two years) ??😃😂 also accusing current Armenian government of not handling the refugee situation, they do great job considering amount of refugees and how poor country we are!!! that is where smell of dashnaks is stinking. Also how little it is Russians fault according to Eric 😂😂😂😂 I was better opinion of you Eric , Shame on you !
