Thank God we have intelligent analysts like Eric that will tell the hard truth no matter how terrible are the circumstances! So many people are awfully naive thinking that the so called "collective west" will help Armenians in such a dire situation...They are no better than the russians, just more hypocritical! The only reason the US helps Ukraine is because Kremlin is directly involved in the conflict and that's it. The human rights, democracy, international laws which can be used to prevent yet another Armenian genocide(!) mean absolutely nothing to them! If we don't finally learn from this catastrophe, we're truly doomed as a nation!

Armenia should push for a defense treaty with India. Indian army is a very battle hardened army and have good moral discipline. A lot can be done with Indians in this matter. I must remind you that Indians defeated ottomans in the battle of Haifa in the world war and Indian forces were actively involved during both the world wars and won many battle honors. Also, Indians are the most experienced force in the world in the mountain warfare. Indians, if they agree can prevent any genocidal intents from your adversaries. Also as a nation, Indian people know from experience what is physical genocide and cultural genocide. Also, remember Alexander lost his appetite for war after the fight with Indians. Indians can fight till the last bullet and the last breath. Any doubts, ask our distinguished neighbors China and Pakistan. Once Indians are with you, you are unstoppable and unsurmountable. The problem is, Indians are very war averse because they take war very seriously and they know that the war extracts heavy price and there are serious consequences in terms of economic and sociologic loss. Once Indians are with you, they will not turn back and the government of India must be convinced that they should help the Armenian nation. Armenians are paying the price for their infatuation with the west, which is essentially for sale. No morals, only hypocrisy and unfortunately no will or the capability to fight whether economically or militarily. West in on decline, and Indians the rising power in the east because of their superior moral might! Armenia needs to be with the future superpower of the world for the coming decades as an indispensable ally and partner!

And I loved the last part: we indeed should fight as we have nothing to lose, against all of the odds. But fight smart, of course.
I don't always agree with Eric but I agree that those who can prevent the 2nd genocide should be held accountable. Armenia is clearly fighting for independence and thats not a bad thing even according to Azeris and Turks. It would take so little to help so much.
But one correction. This would be the 3rd genocide. The ottoman persecution from 1890s would be first.
Don't always agree as well, but I mostly do.civilnet youtube has become my Best Media to find out what's going on in Armenian. But I don't agree occasionally is fine with me I think they do a good job telling us the truth.
@Jojo-yl6op that's like being the nicest guy in prison. Most Armenian media is terrible in how biased they are. Hetq is better in my opinion. They challenge oligarchs and do actual investigations, not just opinion pieces.

United States would love to get rid of the headache by the name of Artzakh and want to treat it with the band aide and hope it will work. Controversial to say the least statements of the prime minister are not helping. This current government is not capable to fight this monumental fight we are facing. Every single Armenian throughout the world must get involved!
