Hey Gajin question: why is the ki-200 at such a high BR? to be honest it doesn’t fit in At 8.7 because it goes up against AAMs and jets like the mig21 which is far superior all I really am saying is to lower the ki-200s be to at least 8.0 it would really help matchmaking plus it also helps the SL cost because it’s practically insane how much you need to pay to repair it at 16,000 SL
I mean, i spaded my Ki-200 when it was at 9.0 36 kills to 6 deaths, 2 of those deaths being shoot downs, 3 from crashing and 1 from PL induced crash. I was never hit by a missile, the Ki-200 is the most unstoppable plane in game in a guns only fight, ive been testing it from 7.0-11.7
You're questioning why a plane like the Ki-200 or even the Me 163 is at a higher BR. If you put it low, it will absolutely be broken. If you put it higher it will either be mediocre or useless. Also you can easily avoid missiles with it, just lower the throttle and the heat signature will be gone in a instant. For repair cost, that is definitely a YOU problem.
If you go deep enough into the semantics, I believe you will discover that both rocket engines and turbojet engines are examples of jet propulsion. Both of them produce thrust by generating a high-speed jet of fluid reaction mass - for rockets, this reaction mass consists solely of combustion gases, for turbojet engines the exhaust jet consists of a mix of combustion gases and air.

@@notafrog2040 Yep, that Mai. They're still alive. They infrequently comment in the WT reddit but appear to just be focusing on their kid and building model tanks now.
It is often overlooked that the main reason that German adopted jet engines was the fact that the Fischer-Tropp coal to oil system was able to produce a fuel more suitable for a turbo jet. Certainly had the Ishikawajima Ne-20 engine available in quantity, and earlier, the Kyushu J7W Shinden would have become a very formidable weapon and a very unpleasant surprise for allied aircraft. Today, at least two Nakajima Kikka airframes survive in the USA. Along with one of the two prototype Kyushu J7W Shinden aircraft built. Also, two Mitsubishi J8M aircraft survive. One is preserved at the Planes of Fame Museum at Chino, California. This is believed to be J8M403. A second aircraft was found in a very derelict condition in a cave in Japan during the 1960s. It has now been fully restored by Mitsubishi. I strongly suspect that had Japan been able to actually get these aircraft operational in quantity during 1945. It would have effectively meant that the allies would have been unable to defeat Japan.
@@notafrog2040 Why, thank you dr.obvious. I didn't notice that until you told me, because I totally haven't known that the Japanese industry, which failed to even produce standardized screws precisely, was far out classed more than 20 times over by the USA alone. You really are helpful.

Yep. Japan is kind of resource poor. (Was a major reason for their war in the first place.) And resources are kind of hard to come by when the US navy is putting a strangle hold on your economy.
Q: Do why gaijin never updated the J7W1 design? Some fans sent some profs of slats in the plane and thinks like that and the answer was kinda “we don’t have enough information to do it” when, in fact, some planes are purely blueprints and are still on game.

A-10 and Su-25 are the freest kills for the Ki-200, because they are relatively slow and when you cut throttle they will have a hard time locking on you. And you outturn them with ease.
Hey would you bring town the ki200 so it can be playable and repair the landing gear of the kikka because we have to j out every time at the beginning of a game ? Thanks
Well, very nice video, but it doesn't explain, why the Ki-200 is placed in BR 8.7, forced to fight with the jets of the late 50's, some of them equipped with AIM-9 missles. And this is the case when she isn't even uptiered.
Japanese Navy ships, like allied navy ships, used powerful turbine engines. Sharing features of turbos and jet engines. Turbochargers were commonly used for high attitude aircraft. So much of the technology was already well understood. Including production methods. Including high temperature operation. German jet engines, like Japanese, lacked adequate resources to make jets effective.

Q: We know that Germans used to implement whistles on their bombs, so via the Doppler Effect, a plane that is dropping bombs would hear a decreasing pitch on the whistle. But isn't it the opposite on the receiving end? A tank getting bombed should hear the sound as an increasing high pitched whistle. Is it possible that you implement this to the game? Thank you!
Gaijin can you fix the japanese gunner textures? They are still bugged. Also some rank 4 Japan planes are overtiered, most noticeably J2M3 and J2M5, the J7W1 too.
They may look like German jets to casual historians and gamers, but upon more reading (and actually watching the video) they are more similar to the Gloster Meteor. Just because they were on the same side and their Jets look the same does it mean one copied the other. All nations arrive at roughly the same conclusion, with the Americans, and there’s starfighter, the British, and they’re at forementioned meteor, the Russians, with their SU-9 project, and the Japanese with their Kikka.
To all the players of War Thunder: I believe everyone has noticed the recent changes in the in-game economy, whether it's for naval, ground, air battles, AB, RB, or SB. Gaijin is continuously pushing the boundaries and testing the limits of its players. If you are familiar with the game "Escape from Tarkov," you probably know the consequences when game developers constantly provoke their player base. As players of this game, we contribute to its activity, and in theory, Gaijin should appreciate each and every one of us who continues to support and encourage this game. However, Gaijin keeps pushing the boundaries and exploiting each and every one of us. This recent economic change is not just a simple adjustment; Gaijin is gradually making it clear that if you don't pay for this game, you don't deserve to play it. I implore every player here to bravely stand up and resist this behavior. Gaijin has now infringed upon our rights as players, and we cannot, and should not, let Gaijin continue to exploit us in the future. It is time for us players to unite and stand together. We should be a collective, a class, opposing Gaijin's exploitation and oppression towards us. We are here to enjoy this game, to find joy in it, and we should not be working for Gaijin. I hope that each player will save and spread this message. This post will undoubtedly be deleted, but we should copy it, share it, on any platform, anywhere that allows us to make our voices heard. Fellow warriors, let's fight for our future. Stay strong! Not my written by me, spread the message
Not exactly like the German Meseersmchitt 163 Komet or 262. They did used the German's jet technology, The MXY-7 OHKA. Japanese had NAKAJIMA KIKKA Ne-20, but it came too late.
Yeah id love to see an air launched suicide cruise missile with 800kg warhead for Japan, because why not? Maybe the G5N and G8N can carry two of them, who knows?
Thank you Sir Frank Whittle for your brilliant idea for a Jet Engine. You Patented the idea and against all odds( govt disinterest) you made the First jet engine. The Patent was made Public and the idea picked up by the Germans. The First jet flight being made by the Germans just before the British first flight. Collaboration with America saw them rapidly produce there first Jet Fighter. All these were to late in the War to make the massive difference they would have if they had come in the early 1940. But fantastic progress was made during the 40s into the 50s. The first Civil Jet Airliner was designed during the wear and flew in 1949 the Comet
Man I wish we could get the Ki-201 Fire Dragon At least the engine was built so I guess according to the fourm it's an incomplete prototype so possible?
I want it to, but yeah... In WT we only get at least "1 complete prototype to mass produce" for tanks and aircraft & "laid down to complete" for ships... R2Y2 V1-3 Keiun sadly the only design project that uses the jet engine, upgraded the "Recon" R2Y1 Keiun, so most of the players or I hear rumors that the aircraft will be removed from the game(except players already researched).. so only a chance "never" to get the Ki-201 Karyū...
its easy to dodge them in ki 200, just cut throttle and turn hard. If you cut throttle the engine will cool down very quickly and you can make it miss by turning
The first Japanese jets were just the Japanese Air Force saying “hey Germany, is it ok if I copy your homework but I change it up a bit so no one notices?”
I'll tell you why: Version 1 was un-powered and had fixed landing gear, version 2 was to have better engines (compared to the 3rd version) that bmw made, but they weren't available in high enough quantity for it to see flight before the allies took control over the area, so there's no good data on it to build upon.
229 was as stealthy as literally any other flying wing design of its day (whose stealthiness comes from a small frontal profile and in the case of 229, use of wood to preserve aluminum). it was not designed for stealth

You realise at its own tier and downtier it'd be untouchable right
I mean, i spaded my Ki-200 when it was at 9.0
36 kills to 6 deaths, 2 of those deaths being shoot downs, 3 from crashing and 1 from PL induced crash.
I was never hit by a missile, the Ki-200 is the most unstoppable plane in game in a guns only fight, ive been testing it from 7.0-11.7
@@Denkmaldrubernacht well it’s either that or constantly being missiled
You're questioning why a plane like the Ki-200 or even the Me 163 is at a higher BR. If you put it low, it will absolutely be broken. If you put it higher it will either be mediocre or useless. Also you can easily avoid missiles with it, just lower the throttle and the heat signature will be gone in a instant. For repair cost, that is definitely a YOU problem.

"japanese jets of ww2"
the thumbnail has a rocket plane and only one jet fighter
And its an me 262 ( a german plane)
If you go deep enough into the semantics, I believe you will discover that both rocket engines and turbojet engines are examples of jet propulsion. Both of them produce thrust by generating a high-speed jet of fluid reaction mass - for rockets, this reaction mass consists solely of combustion gases, for turbojet engines the exhaust jet consists of a mix of combustion gases and air.

Japanese engineers: We managed to design and create our own jet plane blueprints and build few prototipes to test it, with almost 0 knowledge about jet aircraft design.

Fantastic video! I especially love the Kikka, Shusui rocket plane R2Y and the Ki-83 twin engine interceptor at the end!

Q: Is it planned to have cruiser/carrier hybrids ships (IJN Mogami 1943) or monitor ships (HMS Terror) in game?
Rare naval player spotted
We should also have Tone and 1943 Ise then 👀
It is often overlooked that the main reason that German adopted jet engines was the fact that the Fischer-Tropp coal to oil system was able to produce a fuel more suitable for a turbo jet.
It would have effectively meant that the allies would have been unable to defeat Japan.
no. no they could not have won. not between Americas and Russias industrial might.
@@notafrog2040 Why, thank you dr.obvious. I didn't notice that until you told me, because I totally haven't known that the Japanese industry, which failed to even produce standardized screws precisely, was far out classed more than 20 times over by the USA alone. You really are helpful.
Q: (kind of weird one) does the temp on the maps affect engine temp or the plane overall performance?
Yes
yes for both
the specific temperature of the engine can affect its performance
the specific temperature or climate of a map can affect an engine in an off state
therefore, it must also change while the engine is on
and then so, the temperature of the map affects the engine
they even (very slightly) change shell velocity for ground maps

A-10 and Su-25 are the freest kills for the Ki-200, because they are relatively slow and when you cut throttle they will have a hard time locking on you. And you outturn them with ease.
I can see the Me 262 in Japanese service, but wasn't the Komet a use-once-and-discard plane? Didn't it kill many of the German pilots who flew it?
I think you are mistaking it for the Bachem 349, the Me 163 could land like any other aircraft only without landing gear ( it had a landing skid)
Q: why is the EJ kai going to 11.7 despite the fact it would be horribly outclassed by everything at 12 and 11.7 due to it being a phantom?

F104 fight with F14。Japanese aircraft don't have any distractors before f4。This is how they make you pay for a premium account
Cool but one thing :
Plz add the kugelpanzer
Japanese Navy ships, like allied navy ships, used powerful turbine engines. Sharing features of turbos and jet engines. Turbochargers were commonly used for high attitude aircraft. So much of the technology was already well understood. Including production methods. Including high temperature operation. German jet engines, like Japanese, lacked adequate resources to make jets effective.

To all the players of War Thunder:
I believe everyone has noticed the recent changes in the in-game economy, whether it's for naval, ground, air battles, AB, RB, or SB.

At least the engine was built so I guess according to the fourm it's an incomplete prototype so possible?
I want it to, but yeah... In WT we only get at least "1 complete prototype to mass produce" for tanks and aircraft & "laid down to complete" for ships... R2Y2 V1-3 Keiun sadly the only design project that uses the jet engine, upgraded the "Recon" R2Y1 Keiun, so most of the players or I hear rumors that the aircraft will be removed from the game(except players already researched).. so only a chance "never" to get the Ki-201 Karyū...

Horton 229 was a German stealth bomber for wwII but why do we only have version 3 not the other 2
it was a figther/bomber
I'll tell you why: Version 1 was un-powered and had fixed landing gear, version 2 was to have better engines (compared to the 3rd version) that bmw made, but they weren't available in high enough quantity for it to see flight before the allies took control over the area, so there's no good data on it to build upon.
it was not stealthy and calling it a bomber would mean the P-26 is a bomber
229 was as stealthy as literally any other flying wing design of its day (whose stealthiness comes from a small frontal profile and in the case of 229, use of wood to preserve aluminum). it was not designed for stealth
It was not a stealth bomber by any means.
