@@phoenixgirl11 Although the research is mixed, I do recommend a weighted vest during your walks. I do not recommend wearing it around the house while you may be doing "chores" since I don't like the extra weight while bending or twisting. I would get an adjustable one and start with only 3-4 pounds to start. Read this first for more info integrativephysicaltherapyservices.com/osteoporosis-treatment-bellingham-washington/

    Your parents are so cute.
I was diagnosed with osteopenia about 1.5 yrs ago. In December I fractured a vertebrea and I now have osteoporosis. Did a dexa to find this out. I've been taking Fosomax tor about 3 yrs. Then and now I haven't gotten much help from the Drs on how to manage this except for drugs and vitamins. Glad to have found your channel.
What type of Dr. Do you recommend? Family dr, orthopedic, neurologist, or someone else. I feel like I'm up in the air with all this. Thank you for any info.

Also, take vitamin k2 if not already and Magnesium glycinate. No doctor ever told me about the k2. A trainer did. I researched it and discovered how important it is, I try continue to lift weights too but my neck is very bad so it’s a challenge. Good luck to you and research!!

I work at an active job where I am standing, walking, lifting, along with general cleaning. I do this 5 days a week 6 hours per shift. I'm not sure how to phrase my question so I hope this makes sense, does an active job where you're on your feet count as weight bearing or would I still need to walk the 7500 steps every day?

I don't believe in them they drive me crazy and I see that your live well 50s on Facebook is there any other way I can join without doing that? I can't afford to pay your prices I'm on a fixed income. It just won't work for me, but if you have any other suggestions, I really want to improve my bone health tremendously. Any words of wisdom or suggestions I hope you can help me out. Thanks so much your videos are great. I just want a little bit more as a free stuff like everybody else gets on Facebook but I'm not on Facebook and I don't plan on being on it either. I have my reasons need help. Thank you.❤😊
