    Hip hinge movement is used in a lot of exercises like the deadlift and kettlebell swings. This helped me to adjust my own 'bending forward' movements.

    Thank you so much! I asked my Dr. for a prescription with a P.T. but he seemed not to understand why with Osteoporosis I would need P.T. and insisted the insurance company would not allow. I wanted visits with a P.T for all that you have shown in this video. Good thing I try to research info outside his office office advice 😕.... He said just walk and take meds😯....

      Hello Sandra, nice job advocating for yourself! Yes, walking and medications can help, BUT there is so much more. Here is my osteoporosis playlist where you may find other helpful videos. ruclips.net/p/PL7iadTWb0ExqS-wsl0ssK7jKVwqkRTTlJ Please pass them on to anyone you know that may benefit, good luck!

      My doctor didn’t even discuss my diagnosis of osteopenia with me…I don’t have a good doctor and it’s impossible to get a new one where I live.

    Trying to imagine doing that while sitting and putting socks or shoes on. It is hard to imagine. My spine just went to -2.8. I am told I should run. I am nit a fast runner and sometimes I run On dirt as opposed to cement. Is there a way I can continue to run. For some reason walking bothers my back and knees much more than running does. When I walk I think I take such long strides which I don’t do when I run. At any rate it just seems to me that my wal g is a harder impact on my body than my slow running.

    You teach us how to stand up with the guideline " nose over toe " does this apply when we are sitting down?? Thank you so much

    • @FrontRowwithEd
      @FrontRowwithEd 2 года назад +2

      Hello, thanks for the question. "Nose over toes" applies only when you are getting ready to stand up from sitting. It helps to bring your body weight forward but not by rounding your back. Hope this makes sense, good luck!

    I am taking Denosumab injection every 6 months now for more than 3 years now. 5 months ago, I fell down on my knees and now I can't bend my left knee much. I feel stiffness and can't walk speedily. Can you show some exercises to remove it. There is no fracture or anything.
