Hi 👋 Sir. I want to buy RSL speed woofer 12s Sub. I am in Bahrain 🇧🇭 country Middle East,? Which country is nearest shipping it to Bahrain 🇧🇭 please let me know how I can purchase through online. Wait for your positive reply. Thank you 🙏.
I personally can't recommend enough the use of duel subs in a near-field situation. I have a 10" sub firing into either side of my main listening position.
That's exactly what I've been considering recently. I have a very large open living area in the middle of my house where the living room is connected. Everyone I talk to recommends massive subwoofers due to the volume of the room, but that often means thousands of dollars.
Also I wanted to add that I've been to people's house where they have a sound bar and a tiny 8" wireless sub next to their main listening position. It sounded much tighter than my giant sub sitting in the corner of the room, and I think the key was near field placement. I was surprised how good it sounded because it was completely hidden.
I want to use the LFE input but my Denon's lowest crossover point is 80hz. I have towers and I don't want to send 80hz to the sub. 50 would be just fine. Any suggestions ?
Denons have two settings for bass. Check to see if what you are adjusting is your Low Pass filter setting. The LPF for LFE setting determines what frequencies the Subwoofer Channel on your Denon will have available to output to your sub. Generally Denon sets a LPF at 120hz. This doesnt mean that your crossover is 120hz. You will want to adjust the crossover setting individually by going into Speakers then selecting crossover. You can set this as low as 40hz. hopefully this helps!
Yes. You want the sub to be linear beyond just 80hz so you don't have excessive attenuation at and slightly below the crossover region you select in the bass management of your AVR.
@@bigmike5785 I actually didn't get a second. Life happened... but I'm waiting for a 12 now. Fairly large. Open floor plan not acoustically optimal for sure. Lots of echo.

By the way, if their cabinet is a tuned mass loaded transmission line, then there may be only some/minimal DSP needed to get the smooth response.

what sub you got now?
@@demonreturns4336 I have a pair of HSU vtf2-mk5 but originally I had a SVS PB1000 but it wasn't enough for my room size but I probably could have got by with it had I got a second one. My biggest upgrade was getting the umik-1 and figuring out that placing my subs in opposing corners provides significantly better frequency response over how I originally placed them. The vtf2-mk5 is comparable to the SVS pb1000 pro however SVS gives you more output at 25hz and less at 16hz which I'd say is probably better since a lot of movies roll off their bass around 20hz so that's what I'd pick today at their higher inflated price points especially since SVS has the app.
I thought about changing my theatre room subs recently, but given my two Klipsch Sub 10's are running about half gain and offering huge bass, there is simply no need for me, but the Speedwoofer would have definitely been on my short-list...
SVS is getting rekt because they spent too much money on putting DSP in their subs when everyone already has room correction
statistically this seems to rival the SVS 3000 Micro
Have you guys checked out Starke Sound SW12? It's a sealed sub, about the same price. I've really been enjoying it on my PC setup.

How is your PC setup set UP. Do u produce music or have an audio interface with powered monitors? Or do you have an amp with a sub out?
@@Smellslikegelfling having your sub/subs right next to you lets you keep their gain down, lowering distortion.
Dual, not duel.
for near field why two? i’m mixing, trying to research on it; thanks for any insights.
I have four speedwoofers try four you will
Like it very much.
The TESLA sound system. A great BIG super heavy sub and 5,000 satellites.
And would never exist outside vaporware
noooooooooooo😂!
I think, I think...:D
Please this subwoofer does not have low pass filter. Stop misinforming us.
It does have a Low pass filter 40-250hz. It just doesn't have a high pass.
This cat needs to refer to his papers.
Why would you want a sub playing in the 100-200 Hz region???? LFE mode response extends too far into the lower midrange. Am I missing something?
Yes. You want the sub to be linear beyond just 80hz so you don't have excessive attenuation at and slightly below the crossover region you select in the bass management of your AVR.
My RSL is sad because it's lonely... I should have splurged on two.
Next day recap: definitely getting a second.
@Steve Boatman did you get a second? How big is your room?
@@bigmike5785 I actually didn't get a second. Life happened... but I'm waiting for a 12 now. Fairly large. Open floor plan not acoustically optimal for sure. Lots of echo.
I have a bic coustech pl300. its terrible. I'm SURE this is better.
So what you're saying is we definitely want a review?
10:24 in I stopped watching. Your expert is fumbling around and doesn't know what knob does what, unimpresive to say the least.
@Steveostones then it's your loss. James Larson subwoofer reviews are benchmark in the industry.

this james dude must lay off the wacky backy.
dementia overload.
You lost me at "360 degrees out of phase."
You lost me with a comment we never said.

@zounds13 maybe james meant 2 full cycles.
what's that??? another sub w/ NO XLR? -fabulous
Check out @taz comment. Starke has a good sale on subs with XLR outs
Which $450 sub has XLR?
@@ytj22 keep in mind I never said there were so many with XLR-- I said yet another without XLR-- so there are plenty without XLR and But we need more with XLR.
@@ytj22 Starke Sound SW10 10" Subwoofer on sale $399 right now. I own 2 of the Starke SW12"s that were 450 each on sale and couldn't be happier.
@@Audiojunkabus I will check it out, thanks.
I think cosmetically it could be better. I just can't get past the looks .Sorry It's ugly!
