What an incredibly kind family this tosser married in to, they were so kind to both him and his father, also a tosser. Some people are vipers and there is no getting away from it
@the grey witch “wealthy guy woman”……ummmm……what does that mean? Typo maybe?
@@elleblue07 yes ...of course a typo. Who would ever get away with something like this? There was a wealth of circumstantial evidence yet the DA never moved forward.

@alexdaydreams, they are aware

Or are they aware of that, but just don’t care & *know* they’ll get away with it regardless. Maybe that’s the case. Horrifying either way 😩
Well it’s because they have no internal sense of what is normal so they’re 100% going off what they see other people do and trying to replicate it - problem is when they get into situations where they’ve never watched a normal person handle it then their true nature usually comes out and they seem as cold and unfeeling as they really are.

Something I never understand with many partner murder cases is the blatant disregard for the children’s safety. It’s always a battle to have someone have custody even if they are in the wrong and it’s sickening
That family knew damn well their daughter would not just disappear like that. She would not leave her children nor miss her sons birthday. They should have called immediately and filed a missing persons report. If either of my sons in law called and said one of my daughters just drove off and didn’t come back, I would know immediately something wasn’t right. They would not just leave their children. It makes no sense. I would file every report I could and start calling the media.
Same.
They must not be telling everything, I agree with you 100% , my daughters would not do this either, but apparently this wasn't out of the ordinary? Maybe she had left him before.

I would never deal with an adult partner of my child calling me to tell their side of the story. That's a manipulative red flag.
My childrens father used to do that with my mom in the 00s. He’d be like “I hit her again” then she’d come over and tell me not to “freak out” on him for not coming home anymore cause he was a “good provider” 🤦🏻♀️ I still haven’t forgiven her either. My kids are going 18 and 16 now and have no relationship with her at all. She calls crying about it all the time.
Had a son in law that did this. I felt it was a power bid. "Your mom says you have to mind me." That sort of thing.
My ex husband went to my mother asking her to help him take my children due to me not "coping" with the abuse they knew was going on - her and my aunty agreed.
He secretly recorded the conversation.. Played it back to me and said "told you no one loves you"
He had no intention of taking them - at that time.. He just did it to prove a point.

Great video.

That smile on his face while he’s talking about how his wife is missing and he should be getting hugs from everyone and offers of help is just sickening. A duper’s delight if I ever saw one.
Perry and his dad provided as much material as that could to be caught. Brilliant!
I lived in Ajijic Mexico while Perry was living there. He wasn’t doing legal work, as far as I knew. He and his Mexican wife actually ran a restaurant there. It was nice and the food and service were great.
We were living there for a good 2 months and had eaten at his restaurant 4 or 5 times. When we saw him there, he always was nice.
Then someone told us, oh, you eat at THAT restaurant? Where the owner killed his wife?
Then as we lived there we heard more stories. Perry wasn’t paying the owners of the building he was running his business out of.
They were trying to get him out.
Then other weird stories about a neighbor of Perry’s house that got mad cause perry wouldn’t pay the town for his trash pick up. They started leaving his full cans there.
So, perry takes the cans and sticks them with his neighbors cans. Which pissed off the neighbor because he was like “pay for your own garbage pickup”. They had a heated argument.
The next day the neighbors dog was poisoned by someone throwing a steak in the yard laced with poison that the dog ate and almost died.
48 hours at the vet.
The whole town knew Perry did it.
So many more stories, but suffice it to say, Perry was a disgusting, horrible, monster weasel of a human being.
That must have been absolutely heartbreaking for Janet's parents. On top of everything else they must have been freaking out till they got the grandchildren away from that pos. As someone has also noticed, i found it just unbelievable that after all the help they gave Perry and his father, this is how they repaid it. I suppose the apple doesn't fall far from the tree though.
I started listening and at first I couldn't figure out why you'd chosen this case, which basically boils down to a man killed his wife for insurance money. Seriously!! Although I guess I shouldn’t be surprised when I hear the reasons they did it.
Perry landed himself in prison because he could keep his ego in check. If he had laid low, didn't say anything, and just stayed away in Mexico, he probably would have gotten away with the murder. But rather sitting down somewhere, Perry was out here starting court battles and giving national interviews. The state didn't have much solid evidence, just circumstantial. I lived a few minutes up the road from downtown Nashville when this happened. I was in my last year of high school and it was all over the news and both my mom and I knew from the get go that he'd killed her- prettyvmuch everyone else believed the same thing. I'm glad they finally got him on it and locked him up. Unfortunately, my mom died in 2003 and didn't get to see the end of it all. Honestly those few seconds of his media appearance highlighted what a completely disgusting narcissist he is - her poor parents must have gone through such trauma not only knowing he had killed their daughter but also had their grandchildren.
He wanted custody of his kids granted to his wife in Mexico and not the Levins. He was OK sponging off on them enjoying all the perks but they were not fit to raise their grand kids ? The Levins cushioned and over extended themselves just to much to both him and his father.
