The Japanese word "Ramen" itself comes from the Chinese word for "hand-pulled", which is "Lamian."

The shop name: Chinese Hand Pulled noodles. Hahaha...But you have to acknowledge that Japan made it into an art. Time for China to learn from Japan.

lol. Your knowledge of Chinese noodles is limited. Japanese haven't penetrated the deeper mysteries of noodles. Even the "art" is nothing new. But yes, always learn.

Everything this guy does looks good. But how exactly is this "one of a kind"? And there's no "special technique". Everything looks pretty standard to me

In many major cities across China lamian is very common thing, people have it for breakfast, so common people don't think much of it. Ramen went through localization in Japan and in the US it's a fucking religion where people sit for upwards of 30 minutes to an hour, ordering a ton of drinks, talking, spraying soup and noodles in each other's faces while the noodles get soggy and when they're done talking they ask for takeout cups to pour their noodles in to bring home, wtf!?!?
