I think if AI can ever get to the point that it can replace motion design, VFX, Animation, Graphic Design etc, then I think it will be capable of replacing most other jobs humans do. On a funny note, client feedback might be just the thing that pushes robots over the edge to destroy all humans.
Usual rules should apply: Don't claim to have put more effort into your work than you actually did. Also, how AI are is viewed should depend on context you use it for.
I have dedicated thousands of hours to learning motion graphics! If AI makes it worthless overnight, then I'll be heartbroken. It's more devastating than losing an income stream for me. I'm anxious! we'll see what happens. (good video by the way!)
I think rather than those hours being wasted, it just makes you more thoughtful about the process. In the future, when someone else hits a button and everything is done immediately, you'll know that there are 100 little aspects to how something animates and can identify and alter those with intention. I think music producers are better for knowing outboard gear, woodworkers are better for understanding hand tools and animators will be better for understanding After Effects.
I recommend you check out Steven Zapata's video on this topic. He goes very far in his projections, but he contends that the ramifications go far beyond commercial art and design.
Any link you can share plz? (And p.s- If diamonds were so easily accessible, thrown out in the street like litter- their value would become zero (it will un-diamond them). Same for art. It will be so over-saturated and accessible to infants even- so art will lose it's value, uniqueness. And society without art -is just a bunch of robots/zombies going to work and going to sleep.)
@@eladbari I can't post links here, but the video is called "The End of Art" by Steven Zapata here on RUclips. So the things you mention are also in his video as you can imagine.

I started watching Silhouette and Mocha tutorials for rotoscoping and now it turns out that an AI comes to steal a job that I haven't even gotten yet. Sadge...

As of NOW AI has gotten far too good to ignore. The tech is miraculous. As a digital artist it's both the most threatening thing, and the most amazing.
So what do you think, is AI going to steal our jobs?
I ain't scared 😳
Yes... just when?

'80% of the kids who are in kindergarden today will be working jobs that haven't been invented yet' really makes you think 🤯

It's unethical. That's it.
Great video! Lots of questions I had being answered
Love it. Great points and very interesting. Particularly loving the bold Da VINKY pronunciation. Keep em coming!

as long as you still need to be the one to tell the AI what to rotoscope…

"By HAND, using your HUMAN hand"
3 months later : So, here's how to animate using AI

I agree that Ai is going to stay but I feel it's not regulated since it is new. Currently we do need the legislation to adapt to thi s
Good Sad Video
Ai generated full length 3D movies that don't make any sense are just around the corner.
