I just wanted to ask if we can make all layers directly in AE? Without using Ilustrator or Photoshop?
we we can do that but for complex animations its better to do it on illustrator.

When I try to copy and paste the thick layer keyframe to the Thin layer, nothing happens. I opened after effects for the first time today, do I have some settings off?
