    In this video i will assembly the circuit board, that will add a USB-C connector to PS4 (Playstation) controller. The board was designed in a previous video you can find here. • Design | V1 PS4 cont...
    If you are interested in manufacturing this board. Or order it from an assembly service so you can either sell it, or just own them all your self. Jump into my Discord for details.
    In my upcoming video i will be making a version of this board that has all components on one side, so its cheaper and easier to manufacture. I will also be panelizing it. ( many small boards on a bigger board).
    The board in this video is made by JLCPCB.

    Im using an oem ps4 v2 controller which is around 12$, and its good for a casual gamer like me. So for me its cheaper to buy a new one than modding it. Good video and sharing 👍

    This project is amazing. The video quality is just... Unbelievably good.
    I will definitely buy some boards, whether I will have to solder or not.
    Battery upgrade would be a cool project.
    Keep it up!

      Thanks buddy. Appreciate it a lot :) Would be cool to do usb high speed charging. But it probably requires a hole new main board.

    Really nice video, man. I was just waiting for this to subscribe. I read your other comments and I agree with you that would be nice to have quick charge but it'd be quite an undertaking.
    Keep up with the good work. Hope your next video comes soon

      Quick charge would be cool. But i think you need to redo the entire controller pcb..

    Is it usb c 3.0?

    • @MariusHeier1
      @MariusHeier1  2 года назад +1

      Nope. Its just the connector that change. The extra benefits are the reversible cable input and extra mechanical strength by the usb-c connector itselfs.
