I have family in Edinburgh and yeah, they’re all building snowmen and enjoying it while they can. Meanwhile here in Sweden my car door is stuck closed and eyelashes are freezing up. Absolutely love it.
That was fun to watch and I am glad that you enjoyed it too. Metal unfortunately gets brittle with cold and so many springs and load supporting mechanisms are broken at sub zero temps. I use my car as little as during winter for that reason.
Atv's are so handy for snow removal! I live in northern Indiana in the Great Lakes region of the United States where we receive alot of snow and have a tractor with a front end loader but find myself using our Polaris Sportsman more often than not because it's fun and usually quicker! Love the video's!
Brilliant one Ash. Fun to watch. Yeah it's terrible back here, only -5 and like you say the media love a story haha. Don't feel cold though cuz it's been dry and wearing the right gear. Off to be with friends exploring Scotland and definitely a bit colder up there but that's what we are going for. Keep up the wonderful fun bud. Take care Both X
Indeed it is mate same shit but I think this year the weather god's will unleash the fury dono about it getting as cold as there though, ya gotta start wondering when people are taking moisture content of wood as a serious threat to the greenhouse lol.
Hahah to be fair the country isn't prepared for even a drip of snow so can't blame people. I feel for those on the breadline this winter with the energy prices though. Absolute joke.
No expert (aren't we all expert in the comments?😉) but if you could rotate the blade 15-20° to either direction you'd push the snow to the side and get more push with less stress (?) Would bet better when you get a lot more snow? . (Boys toys for the win either way!)
Haha you're not wrong at all, that's exactly the way to do it and both tractor blades are angled. It actually puts more stress on the linkages running it angled though as it makes it want to twist so that's why this one is straight for now. I did add two extra holes to angle it once I know it's strong enough 👌 Also, we recently got a massive snow blower which I'll be using for the driveway as it will remove the snow rather than just move it to the side. That should be a fun watch 😄 cheers!
Where I live in Scotland it was -15 overnight and -2 highest today. Oh and I imagine in the Netherlands people don’t have studs on their tyres. Might be like in UK where people don’t even have all-season tyres. Driving like a 90 year old is probably the wisest thing to do. Noticed Ash all over the place when he took a corner too quickly, even with studded tyres.
@@littledrover Not a lot of snow/ice generally speaking, so no, we don't use studs. I think around 35% drives on winter tyres in winter. I use all-seasons though since I don't drive a lot. Fun fact, 5% of total cars still drives on them in July/August. Lol. The 90 year old thing was more meant as weird behavior. With snow/heavy rain if you don't look around well enough and don't drive defensively then you get accidents hence the insane congestion.

There's nothing quite like the feeling of your face freezing solid 🤣👌

It's definitely a harsh environment for machinery. I'll take it over rain any day though 😅
Nothing wrong with playing, at any age. Christmas Greetings.
Haha absolutely 😁 and to you!
👍👍
*OMG* !!!!
Just looked out the window!
There's 1cm of snow in South London and it's still falling!!
Were all going to DIE!!
.
😉😂
Don't leave your house whatever you do. Will be like a demolition derby out there 🤣

-27 that is crazy cold, is this Alaska or a bit closer to home? cheers
This is in Sweden 😊
Full respect, popped over as just installing a diesel heater, let me know if there is a journey video from UK to Sweden, atb, David
First autumn "storm" 1000km of congestion in the Netherlands.
First sign of snow and people drive like 90 year olds.
Horrendous I tell you.
Hahaha sounds like England 😅
