It is fishing season here for my family. I have tin cups that are searing hot when filled with freshly brewed coffee or tea or hot chocolate. I am going to make these for my camping tin cups. And, now I can use up that leftover elastic from 2020 mask-making spree. THANKS STACEY! So glad I found your channel today. (9/17/2024)
What a great idea for your camping tin cups, Elli! 🤗 I'm so glad you found the channel useful. Thanks for watching and sharing your plans. Happy quilting! 🌸
Stacey, I made this but my button broke at the end so...I now use it as a bookmark! Perfect size and makes me happy to see the fabric throughout the entire book. Ive returned to this tutorial today to make it again, now with a bigger, stronger button AND to use up scraps and make more bookmarks :) Thank you for your work.
That's such a clever way to repurpose it as a bookmark! 😊 I'm glad you're making more with your scraps-sounds like fun! Thanks for sharing, and I really appreciate your comment! 🌟
Another option is to use non slip mat on the back. As well as helping to not slip, it gives a bit more thickness to protect hands from burns...for those who drink at lava temperatures ❤
Hello from San Antonio, Texas in the U.S.! Stacey, I just found your channel and am so glad I did. I’ve been quilting and crafting for about 18 months, and all the projects you showcase are exactly the type of sewing projects I enjoy doing. Love your thoroughness in your explanations, which makes it easy to understand, even for beginning sewists. Thank you for all you do! I subscribed ❤

Hi everyone, from Australia 😀🌺🦋
Hello there! 🇦🇺
Love these. I would use cotton batting
Thank you so much! 😊 Cotton batting is a great choice-it’s perfect for creating a soft, cozy finish. ❤️✂️
