What a trip. The band I was in called, The Syndicate, had the pleasure of opening for these wonderful gentlemen at the Woodstock on Ball rd. And and Knott ave. Around 1979 or 80. We were from Huntington Beach, Craig Olivas on guitar, Manny Verdugo on drums, Bryan Patterson on bass and, Jim Ianciti on vocals. Brian on drums was fucking insanely good and both guitar and bass totally fucking shredding. Tight ass fuck as you can see. Brian invited me, Manny to help rody at Knotts berry farm. They kicked ass as usual, great show.
As a Canadian, this is what comes to mind when I think of American bar bands from the 70's. Like a second rate Atlanta Rythmn Section. But without a killer vocal hook. All good when yer drinking beer and just hanging out. Every city had an A La Carte....
Starwood staples., they and Smile and Quiet Riot ( Randy era ) They were rockstars to me !

Carlos talked about them in an interview.
We used to love seeing this band “back in the day” (when I was in high school) - anyone have a recording of Skin and Bones???
thanks for posting. If there wouldn't be Gene Hoglan talking about Brian O' Brian I wouldn't know about this AWESOME band.
You are very welcome Brian. Awesome drumming there, I like when you can hear style and personality in music.
