This is the best month this year for Arrow, I can easily convince myself to buy the whole monthly slate.

I agree, Andrew! I’m interested in most of what’s coming in August as well. Another strong slate of announcements from Arrow.

I preordered Heathers and Silence of the Lambs. I had to

Yes, I’ll likely be picking those up as well, Archie!

I have the Kino 4K release of Silence of the Lambs as well as the 2 sequels in 4K and the Criterion blu-ray. I'll see how the Arrow compares to that with the extras :)

Yes, I’m planning to get Silence of the Lambs 4K as I have the Criterion edition and want the other features.

I just bought the Kino Lorber 4K of Silence of theLambs. But I’ll consider the Mexico trilogy. Desperado is a masterpiece.

Sounds good. Thanks for sharing the thought on Desperado, Gary! Looking forward to seeing it.

Definitely looking forward to the Mexico Trilogy set. I haven’t seen Once Upon a Time in Mexico yet, but the first two are great, so I would recommend picking up the trilogy rather than just Desperado.

Thanks for the recommendation, William. I was thinking of just getting the Desperado 4K but might consider getting the trilogy based on your recommendation.

I used to love Heathers. Haven’t seen it in years but I’m happy it’s getting a nice release. I see The Woman in theaters when it came out. I remember it being a very tough watch. Not sure I can revisit it but Lucky McKee’s first film, May, is incredible. May got a release from Second Sight.
The Clash and Wrath of the Titans set is a real head scratcher. Doesn’t fit Arrow’s brand in my opinion. I saw the first in theaters and it had some cool creatures and good effects but wasn’t memorable otherwise.

I’m looking forward to seeing Heathers for the first time with this upcoming Arrow edition, Hunter!

I watched Heathers way too many times in the late 80s/early 90s. It was a fascinating indictment of upper class teenage cliches at the time and now, in hindsight, is a somewhat troubling time capsule of 80s teen angst & apathy.

Stoked for the Memento Mori box and SOTL 4K!

Heathers was edgy for it’s time. But still good now.

Upon further review, the Arrow release of Silence of the Lambs has a few extra features not on the Criterion or Kino release. It has everything that is on the Kino release except the documentary "Inside The Labyrinth" which is also on the Criterion release. Exclusive to the Criterion release is the commentary which is different than the one on the Kino and Arrow release and an interview with film critic Maitland McDonagh. The Arrow 4K is a must buy indeed.

I’m definitely looking forward to that Arrow 4K set for SOTL!
