This channel deserves so much more attention! You're the only person I can find talking about this series.

I’ve just ordered this book after reading the first chapter - someone left the book at my work. Hooked!! Can’t wait to read it. As a Scot she’s a prolific hero of mines!
    Love your set up!

I've been super interested in this book for a long time, but it keeps slipping off my TBR. Loved what you had to say about it though, this sounds like something I could really enjoy! Though, I already have a feeling that I will have the same experience as you and will feel kinda sad when the plot gets introduced. I love me some 'no plot, just vibes' stories, hahah.
Boudica sounds like a fascinating person/character, I am interested to learn a bit more about her life by diving into this series!
    Great review!! 🤩

I Am really curious about this series but i would like to know more about the trigger warning for animal death. I'm seeing it in the description of this video and also in someone's goodreads review that there was way too many animal death. We're those pets or animal companions or just passersby without grieving them.. Like horses in battle for example 😅

Sorry I know you asked this a while ago.
So book one the deaths sre mainly horses but it’s historically accurate to an atrocity the Romans did to the horses and very brutal.
      Book two: beloved pet
And that’s all i can remember off the top of my head as the ones that stand out.
      I hope that helps still
