When I saw the name. I thought it was wet Willie Wet Willie keep on smiling is a great toon. Never heard this before but its catchy
Never heard this before - it was not a hit in the US; his major hit in the US was “Love Is In The Air” - fun, uplifting song
i remember this song it was not a huge hit but it got some radio play.
Why not just do ''Love Is In The Air''? Or are we leaving the best till last?
This was a moderate hit in Australia during JPY's peak as a teen idol. This song dated very quickly and in no time became a dusty oldie that is only vaguely remembered by the general public. I believe this song was written and produced by George Young and Harry Vanda, who were also busy with AC/DC (Angus and Malcolm being George's younger brothers). JPY was part of the Alberts Productions roster with AC/DC.

After looking him up, I do remember his song Love is in the air. But it wasn't a big hit. Not a bad song, Don't remember him being a big thing. One hit wonders usually wound up being forgotten back then,especially if it didn't make it to the top 10 or 20.
Not bad song but I don't think I'd remember it. For JPY just try 'Love Is In The Air' and 'Yesterday's Hero'. 'Pasadena' fairly good also.

I'm pretty familiar with popular music during this era, being born in 1964, never heard of this artist and song. Probably never made it to the top 40. Sorry but not worth listening to twice.
