    Served in Afghanistan 2001 - 2002, got med discharged for injuries received in combat. Received the AFEM since the GWOTEM was not created yet. Been out for 22 years now, never gave much thought about trying to get medals that were awarded afterwards.

    What would a veteran ribbons look like if they also served in Iraq.

      When? After July 2014, service in Iraq (and Syria) falls under Operation Inherent Resolve. If a service member serves in OEF, OIF and OIR, they are worn in that order regardless of what order the service member arrived to those countries

    Around 10:19 mark: The Navy Corpsman Ribbons Do Not Match The Medals Displayed In The Shadow Box.

      Some awards do NOT have a medal, only a ribbon.
