It has been established that Jerry knows Beth's psyche very well. So if anybody could maneuver a lesbian selfcest affair with her own clone into a three-way involving himself, it's him.
Also when Jerry hooked up with that alien hunter chick, he and Beth were both split up and heading towards a divorce.

I like that they made a reference to the show "Black Mirror" with the episode: "San Junipero" from 2016

@@danielwhyatt3278 I really like the "San Junipero" episode alot because it has alot of great music in it from the 80's, i don't want to say anything else about the episode in fear of spoiling anything else.

Rick should be able to live down cloning her. She had the dilemma, he offered clone her, and she insisted that he choose what she do with her life; in doing so, she gave him the implicit consent. She effectively said "Yes, you can clone me if you want to. I have no objections to being cloned."
In effect, she, his adult daughter, wanted him to decide whether she should remain someplace that she felt shackled but that kept her in his life, or to let her go to find herself, at the cost of sending her away from everything that she knew and loved, including him - the man who went on a decades-long vendetta to kill the man who killed his version of her. Both choices turned out relatively well for her, but she, as an adult, should have been able to make up own mind, rather than forcing her father to decide what she should be doing with her life. Most people don't get the opportunity to see how they would turn out at both ends of such a life-altering crossroads, so she at least gets the closure that so very few people have every been given - and another lover out of it as well, apparently. Overall, they were both at fault, and neither handled the situation well.
Knowing Rick, it's likely that he initially created the clone as a result of his own dogma that "nothing really matters" and was prepared to send her away because in his jaded mind, it's what he felt that he would have wanted in her situation, but he got cold feet at the last moment when he realized he would actually lose her, so left the decision up to chance and removed the memory to deal with the pain. Notice that he never intended to follow through on the second part of the deal, the part where he "killed the domestic version and implanted her memories into the space faring version". What really matters is that he still loves them both as his daughters, and he doesn't treat either as anything less, let alone as a disposable clone. Quite telling for someone who believes that "nothing really matters, because he can go to a new reality with a new family, or he can clone them or alter their memories at a whim and no one would be the wiser".

ooh, Black Mirror might be a good one to react to! [not sure how I feel about the new season, but 1-5 were pretty decent] and the episode Rick references when he catches the Beths on the holodeck is actually called 'San Junipero' [season 3, episode 4] and it was brilliant

From the perspective of the unhappy wife, the cuckolded husband, the traumatized kids, the newly abused grandpa or the cheating selfcest prone clone?

I think it was around here I started losing interest in Rick and Morty the show. I dunno, it just feels... meh to me. Not meant to influence anyone else's opinion, just giving mine.
Maybe it's because I'm more interested in the Rickless Morty storyline than Rick's revenge storyline. Yes, I call him Rickless Morty because even Jerry did more things considered evil than he did.

if jerry loved himself half that much, sir, he wouldnt be "a codependent worm" as he's so often called. it's not a flex to be so starved of affection that you cling to whoever shows you just enough to get by. but it is equally egotistic, and very misled, to assume that it makes you better than someone who likes their reflection.
