What a ledge. I discovered him in 94 and by 95 had scored a job djing at a bar. I used to spend my cash at the local record store and was NEVER disappointed with a Nelson release. 24H experience "Allnighter" is still one of my fave house tunes ever committed to vinyl. That tune would get me off my deathbed. Big up G, all the best mate

Interested description of the dance music. But Grant needs to realize hip hop won out.

House fell off because African Americans don't like it. House became 'white" or European sounding at a time when African Americans dominate culture.

    11:20 - ditto! I can't stand EDM...:)

Americans didn't ever accept electronic dance music and they will never do. That's a big truth. Americans listen only to hip-hop and country music. If something doesn't have lyrics then it is not considered as music for Americans. They actually never care about music its self but only for lyrics.
EDM is the only thing that Americans came close. That't a second big truth. And the main reason that americans like EDM is because it is a micture of hip-hop, electronica and even country. Just listen to Avicci's 2013 album and it is full of country style EDM.
Americans can't stand beats. They will still be listening to country ballads or hip-hop for the next 200 years.
