2:36 two SD40-2s and a GEVO on a welded rail train

    4:40 ALC42 301 "Blackout" trailing behind a P42
6:10 new ALC42s 351 and 350 on the California Zephyr. (again at 18:44) I hope this is the next route that gets ALC42s.
6:31 REIX 3001 seems to be an SW1500
7:55 NS green slug and SD32ECO set and SD40E (rebuilt from ex-Conrail SD50) trailing
    8:40 CSX bay window caboose
    8:51 BNSF untreated tie train
9:38 Herzog well train under its own power
10:26 those KCLX hoppers are for Kansas City Power And Light, who has multiple coal power plants being served by UP
10:48 P42 161 "Arrow" and ALC42 322 along with the brown FRA car
11:06 CSX 9969 on an inspection train
11:22 rain and wind so hard in La Grange, that a light cover fell off
11:42 also made something in Wichita go kaboom in a flash of blue!
13:08 LTEX F40PHs 401 and 407 along with concrete ties
14:40 Wisconsin And Southern loco in Elkhart
    15:01 CP plow train
    15:17 three SD75Ms on a trashtainer train
15:57 Amtrak 130 running to Harrisburg without any passenger cars!
16:50 KCS, Ferromex, BNSF, and NS in a 4-unit lash-up

And Engineers! They started way back a little leery of the cameras, after seeing themselves on our cameras and the commenters giving hellos and favorable comments, it became a daily thing. We are so glad to have gone from the little kid giving the crew a vigorous pull the horn and wave to an affectionate, family like exchange of greetings.

This was a great grab bag today. Foxes, eagle, two musicians, some great train cars and engines and a caboose, no cupulo on top but still a caboose, my favorite of all train cars.❤🦅🦊🪕🚃❤

When my father was a young boy, steam was still commonly used on the UP lines. I'm 52, and as I look at some of these locomotives, I realize how old they are and remind me that I am not a young man any longer. Great grab!

      @jamiesuejeffery,
I'm in my 70s, and can recall seeing steam in revenue service back in the early to mid-50s on NKP, C&O, and N&W, and yes, it was quite a show while it lasted.

Hooray for the Happy Honker and Happy Birthday to his mom! Beautiful foxes and a terrific eagle. I always love the rocket launches, but I wish I could have heard what our railfanning instrumentalists were playing--I couldn't make it out even with my volume cranked. And didn't the Fort Madison footage with Ferromex and the Amazon piggyback appear twice? The final footage from Burlngton looked like another world after all that snow; it was almost like a mini-vacation. Thanks for another great one!

That CSX Cab was nice to see, in such good condition and I liked the Musical Duo at intermission. The Yreka and Western is not so rare on my HO layout, I like the Logo.

My local shortline up here in Barrie, Ontario transloads new untreated ties in their yard. Interesting to see the differences as they just load them into old coal hoppers and send them off, whereas here they’re carefully placed (in bundles?) and special flat cars. We’ve even had some old Sultrans cars, and an old woodchip car or two.

Does anyone else remember when you could use that rainbow gradient in certain chat rooms back in the 90s, like CryoTrans used on the Brophy typeface on their reefers. (At 1:31). Boy, does that seem dated now!!! And BTW: those old Yreka Western 5-bay hoppers could also have been Oregon Pacific & Eastern as well.

For those who don’t know, the event at 11:44 is called thunder snow. Same as a thunderstorm with rain, only snowing instead. Not very common and can be scary if you’ve never experienced it before.
