Some may find this weird but the way that I found out to help me swing really fast is to do the claw grip but with 3 fingers now I know this may not make a lot of sense but trust me you'll be able to swing faster (Atleast I hope cause it worked for me)
lowering the player height is such a cheat!! i have 130 hours in the game and always left it on auto, songs that i couldn't do because it was too physically taxing or songs that would kill me are now much more doable, if only i had known that you could do this sooner...
All pro players will change height depending on the map, slower maps a normal height is good because it's easy to get good accuracy, faster maps a slightly lower height is nice so we can full swing.
@@shani1328 Me and the wife just got the Quest 2, 5 days ago we also use them like a "boxing glove" 4 finger claw i guess u can call it xD but it more like palming actually 😅🙏
I have high metabolism and I’m 16, 5 foot 6 and 90 lbs. I legitimately cannot physically move fast enough. Also, I feel like from expert to expert plus, expert plus places notes that are farther than my armspan. I miss notes that I would otherwise hit on expert. I can handle the speed, but they place the notes much farther than my tiny body can reach
using more wrist can help get to those side notes quickly, remember that the sabers are really long so with practice and a bit more wrist you can easily get those outer lane notes.
This was great, but I think you should’ve linked a stamina or ranked playlist in the description to help people get started on said maps. Also why don’t you have Advanced HUD turned on in Player Options
I’ve recently beaten ov sacrament (I know I’m late to the trend,) but if your hands are too small for the claw grip, like mine and you play on quest, because I don’t know if this grip works on other headsets as well, put your pointer on the bottom trigger of the controller and put your middle, ring, and pinky finger underneath eachother, put your thumb where ever it’s comfortable, if acc or speed is hard then put your thumb on top of your pointer and middle. Also hold the controller sideways. And for speed maps if your hands are slipping move your thumb up to where the joystick is and then put it right on the little white rim on the bottom and move it till it’s comfortable and there you go. Settings are all default but I think it’s Z position I put at 10. Change the settings how you want though. If your hands still slip after you move your thumb up, then keep a micro finer cloth on you and if you get sweaty pause the song. Then lightly (don’t like yank it cause it’ll probably break but unlikely) grab the little circle on the top of the controller. And if you have a carpet then gently wipe the sweat of on the carpet, make sure your wiping the side with the battery on the carpet, if you don’t have a carpet to use or are scared of wrecking the controller. Then use a micro fiver cloth to wipe it. Wipe the sides with micro fibre, and then wipe the spot where your pointer fingers and stuff were.
My question is how would I be able to move the sabers faster. Like I cannot physically move them fast enough to hit some things, and that’s on harder expert levels much less the kinda stuff flying around the background footage of the video
you would just need to play more, fast beat saber maps can be passed with surprisingly slow swings, the more you play the better you can read the notes which will make the faster stuff feel easier, try playing easier levels that you can pass on 110% speed or so to help u read faster stuff.
The big challenge I always have is in expert plus maps where they have all the notes stacked together in rapid up down hits. I always have trouble keeping the rhythm for it. Any tips for if you struggle with these strings? Like I can do the more moderate to slower ones, but the fast ones always get me.

I have been stuck at 9 notes per second for 5 months and I am loosing intrest in Beat Saber
@@marioglitchy64_original If im being completely honest its most likely just ur reading ability to / reaction from seeing a note to being able to understand where and what direction it is etc. Tbh playing the game more is basically the best thing to do but also remember beat saber has more to it than just speed, getting good acc on mid speed and acc is really fun for lots of people.
@@shani1328 I am certain that it is not my note reading ability. I understand why you might think that but I guess I didn't really clarify my situation. It's almost non exsistant (Sorry for the Sex joke)
@@marioglitchy64_original I mean you could try doing less arm and a lot more wrist motion since using ur wrists is easier and faster than arm on fast parts. What I do is use a lot of wrist on fast sections then lots of arm on slow sections.
orrrrr you can scrap all those tips and have an "accedant" at work witch causes you to get tesla arms so you swing your arms 3× as fast and waste no stamana.
i know i’m late to this but one thing i struggle with my left hand going fast my right hand is fine but i find when i try to go faster with my left hand it starts vibrating i don’t know if that makes sense any tips??
I assume when your left hand vibrates its the wrist, if so try using a bit more arm on your left hand. I reckon it'll improve with time but one thing that might help is trying to swing as calmly as possible if that makes sense. Like being less tense while swinging.
@@shani1328hey i tried using more arm but it still didn’t work one thing i forgot to say is that it’s jumps i’m struggling with and one thing i noticed is that when i try to do a fast stream of jumps i can’t seem to control my speed and i cant get the full swing any tips? (sorry if i’m asking too much)
@@sykosdt2673 for now I don't think you should worry about full swinging, just trying to combo the jumps. If by cant control the speed you mean like losing timing, you can try to do the jumps at a slower speed (maybe like 75%) until you can fully combo it and work your way up 5% at a time to help understand the timing. Also don't worry about asking to many questions.
@@shani1328 so yeah what i mean by full swing is swinging enough to even hit the note. most of the time i’m not even going far enough to hit the notes i take it i should just practice with my left hand for now
rn my main issue is pattern recognition, alot of the patterns on the camellia ex+ maps have patterns i simply don't recognize cuz i'm so used to playing fast but generally simple maps like million pp or tremendous, hopefully if i get the practice plugin this'll help while im tryna beat freedom dive, got any tips on long staircase strings?
long staircase strings as in the updown pattern in freedom dive? if so its mainly just timing, having a closer jump distance can help with timing, you can also try listening to the song and try swinging more aligned with the beat to keep ontime.
I am stuck at the one "speed zone" in firestarter espert+, at 32 seconds, i am able to do the rest of the level perfectly but that part is impossible to me, I'll try some of those tips but idk it's like a super hard part for me no matter how much I try I always fail there
do you have any tips on a map like tinnitus? Slowing down the weird techy part personally doesn’t help and the patterns are difficult and also hard to comprehend. I’m on quest 1 no link
Tinnitus is a very poorly mapped map with miss maps (notes off beat) which makes it super hard to time. My only tip would be try to play it at full speed the when you die click the replay button top right on the continue screen then go to the part just before you died and watch it at 10-30% speed. To slow down replays double click left trigger or press c while beatsaber is in focus then look top left of the window.
One question like I find going lower makes me have to bend my arms right down I go 2.0 hieght and I find that easyer what I struggle with is left hand jumps any song with left hand jumps I suck
tbh you dont need to lower your height much, 0.1 - 0.2 is good to help while making it still feel comfortable. With left handed jumps its kind of a thing you just need to learn. you can try slowing down the song and speeding it up slowly until your able to do left handed jumps at 100% speed.

@@shani1328 i dont have any issue with defualt i was wondering if there was any other type of grip since i cant imagine any other grips than the default one
the NJS mod has two main sliders, one called NJS and one is called NJD. NJS is note jump speed, this is how fast the notes move towards you, if you use NJS it will disable score submission though so I wouldnt recommend touching that. NJD is note jump distance, this is how far away the notes spawn from you, this does NOT disable score submission which means you can mess around with this setting and still submit scores. The higher the NJD (note jump distance), the longer you get to see the note before it hits you.

@@shani1328 while these tips are useful, I already figured them out myself while playing and other people just say that I should just play more.
Honestly I am just out of ideas what to do and I am stuck at 9 notes per second, I physically cant go any further and I dont seem to improve at all.
It's not like I can't read really fast, It's that my arms practically die on harder patterns really really quickly.
It's like my homies stamina in bed. It's almost non exsistant
(Sorry for the Sex joke)
@@marioglitchy64_original I mean you could try doing less arm and a lot more wrist motion since using ur wrists is easier and faster than arm on fast parts.
What I do is use a lot of wrist on fast sections then lots of arm on slow sections.
orrrrr you can scrap all those tips and have an "accedant" at work witch causes you to get tesla arms so you swing your arms 3× as fast and waste no stamana.
Only if I had a job. . .
@@shani1328 same 😔 if only...
i know i’m late to this but one thing i struggle with my left hand going fast my right hand is fine but i find when i try to go faster with my left hand it starts vibrating i don’t know if that makes sense any tips??
I assume when your left hand vibrates its the wrist, if so try using a bit more arm on your left hand. I reckon it'll improve with time but one thing that might help is trying to swing as calmly as possible if that makes sense. Like being less tense while swinging.
@@shani1328thank you i’ll try that
@@shani1328hey i tried using more arm but it still didn’t work one thing i forgot to say is that it’s jumps i’m struggling with and one thing i noticed is that when i try to do a fast stream of jumps i can’t seem to control my speed and i cant get the full swing any tips? (sorry if i’m asking too much)
@@sykosdt2673 for now I don't think you should worry about full swinging, just trying to combo the jumps. If by cant control the speed you mean like losing timing, you can try to do the jumps at a slower speed (maybe like 75%) until you can fully combo it and work your way up 5% at a time to help understand the timing. Also don't worry about asking to many questions.
@@shani1328 so yeah what i mean by full swing is swinging enough to even hit the note. most of the time i’m not even going far enough to hit the notes i take it i should just practice with my left hand for now
Ayyy I'm a nz beat saber player too
Also thx for the tips
np : )
Hi thank you so much for this advice, but I really want to know those sabers. Lol, could you link them?
sorry they're private, you can ask the person who made it Purp1e#3076 on discord though.
Stamina isn't my issue i just can't hit the spams in fbc or potsb
whats fbc or potsb?

0.7m player height, is it just impossible to do maps at high speeds when the player height is set to your actual height?
No, I used to do that but now that I have better stamina I like using 0.1 under my actual height.
nice
epic
rn my main issue is pattern recognition, alot of the patterns on the camellia ex+ maps have patterns i simply don't recognize cuz i'm so used to playing fast but generally simple maps like million pp or tremendous, hopefully if i get the practice plugin this'll help while im tryna beat freedom dive, got any tips on long staircase strings?
long staircase strings as in the updown pattern in freedom dive? if so its mainly just timing, having a closer jump distance can help with timing, you can also try listening to the song and try swinging more aligned with the beat to keep ontime.
In expert spin eternally I get to 2 minutes 10 seconds and fail so I’ll try the extra speed thing
:o
@@shani1328 you are much better but with time that may change I won’t say it will but it might
The over-swing thing is impossible not to do in PSVR. It sucks how heavy the controllers are :(
I use index which are heavier controllers 😎

Ayo do you know how to fix the in game leaderboard in beat Saber on Oculus Quest 2?
if your talking about native quest (without a pc) then you need to wait for a new release of score saber at new.scoresaber.com/quest
@@shani1328 wow you replied haha thanks a lot!

I am stuck at the one "speed zone" in firestarter espert+, at 32 seconds, i am able to do the rest of the level perfectly but that part is impossible to me, I'll try some of those tips but idk it's like a super hard part for me no matter how much I try I always fail there
You can always try improve on passing other maps and come back to it later. Some times a mind set reset helps.
do you have any tips on a map like tinnitus? Slowing down the weird techy part personally doesn’t help and the patterns are difficult and also hard to comprehend. I’m on quest 1 no link
Tinnitus is a very poorly mapped map with miss maps (notes off beat) which makes it super hard to time. My only tip would be try to play it at full speed the when you die click the replay button top right on the continue screen then go to the part just before you died and watch it at 10-30% speed. To slow down replays double click left trigger or press c while beatsaber is in focus then look top left of the window.
@@shani1328 alright thanks for the tips
One question like I find going lower makes me have to bend my arms right down I go 2.0 hieght and I find that easyer what I struggle with is left hand jumps any song with left hand jumps I suck
tbh you dont need to lower your height much, 0.1 - 0.2 is good to help while making it still feel comfortable. With left handed jumps its kind of a thing you just need to learn. you can try slowing down the song and speeding it up slowly until your able to do left handed jumps at 100% speed.
@@shani1328 thanks mate yeah i mean pretty much to get good u just have to play like when i first got my vr i said this songs impossible and the day i passed i didn't believe it i was playing all day this song you should pass

@@shani1328 thank you!
sorry, can someone explain what he means with the first tip about speeding it up? are you saying to practice on a higher speed so that the regular speed feels slower, or to actually try to clear the map at a higher speed?
yea practice on higher speed so the regular feels slower.
@@shani1328 got it, thanks!
Im using pcvr and mods dont work
How do you record and stream your content on YT and Twitch? I'm interested in getting started, but confess to being pretty clueless.
Look at OBS, its a great free recording / streaming software.
Thanks, I have OBS, so do you connect to your PC to record in OBS while playing?
Hey! How can I learn how to improve at swinging faster consistently with my left hand. I just switched to claw grip todat
thats generally just playing more. Usually playing maps that are not too hard but just out of ur speed zone will help you improve faster though.
What is that sword skin? I need it :D
They're private sabers sorry.
@@shani1328 Oh, okay ^^
What are you controller settings in Beat Saber?
Setting I play default Grip and can barely pass expert final boss.Need settings finna switch to claw
use the mod called "easy offsets"
I use quest 2 and use default grip is this ok to do I tried claw and I don't like it
Yea ofcourse, go with what's most comfortable for you
So I’m new how do you make ur sword far away from you like it is on ur screen or is that ur arm length
you can go to settings, then click controller, then change the Z position it what ever you want it to be :)
are the mods (NJSfixer and practice plugin) on quest 2?
I dont use native quest but most likely, Check out the quest 2 mods in the beat saber modding group discord
How do you get to challenge maps?
0:46 i am a morron...all this time i make my height taller in the game..
I mean only lower ur height if your shoulders get tired, otherwise on slower maps having a higher height can help a bit with acc.
does anyone know what the sabers in the start of the video are? and if so, please let me know :D THEY ARE SO COOLLLL
they're private sabers sorry lol
😕
And I got arm pain on the one day I passed 7 dragon force songs lol all day
are there any better grips for index controllers than the defualt grip?
Kinda, some people like garsh have a variant of default grip for index but for the most part people use default grip. Whats you issue with default?
@@shani1328 i dont have any issue with defualt i was wondering if there was any other type of grip since i cant imagine any other grips than the default one
@@burritopuppy for the most part not really, its mainly default grip, some people might like playing with or without the hand strap and stuff.
I only didn't understand - what's NJS in this mod that you recommend?
the NJS mod has two main sliders, one called NJS and one is called NJD.
Maybe I'm just being stupid here, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to adjust player height. I'm clicking all over the place, but it's just stuck at 1.8 meters.
Where it says 1.8m, theres a ruler to the left of it, click that.
you might wanna crouch down to change it to something lower for preference
The vid in the back is sped up right?...
nope
ah yes title "How to improve speed and endurance | Beat Saber Tutorial" 3:07 just improve endurance
and if you watch legit the next 5 seconds I say "Play without pausing" because way to many people pause and that hinders improving ur endurance...
@@shani1328 sorry if it sounded like i was being mean or anything but for me i just never pause because for me its too hard to unpause and survive
@@potato_jems3641 rereading my reply it sounded like I was way madder than I actually was. Either way theres lots of maps that have like 5 second breaks in them which is where lots of people pause
