    I asked my local hobby store if they had qs8 anti spark connectors and he looked at me like uhhhh what. Lol not knowing how to solder and having a crap soldering iron sucks. Definitely a great tutorial, thanks

      Thanks for watching. Castle recommends 8mm bullet conn with XLX2. Qs8, EC8, XT150, castle 8mm connectors, 8mm bullets. I am not saying it won't work but xt90 are definitely not recommended

    • @KiloWattRC
      @KiloWattRC  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching forreal 🙏.. it really depends, if you are into bashing the max 5 is perfect, if more into speed the XLX and XLX2 are perfect. Castle 12s i haven't heard anything new and not sure if the idea has been boycotted yet. PowerHD 65KG is the servo i use.

      @@KiloWattRC thanks for the reply. I feel like I might aim for the XLX2 as it has the best of both worlds (speed/bashing) and it will give me more gearing options, maybe cooler temps?
      Im also stuck on motor option what would you pick; leopard, TP, HW, or the castle 2028’s

      @@skullkidl9432 def go with the xlx2 combo with the 2028 1100kv. The can is the same size as the 800kv but with higher RPM. I run that set up in my kraton EXB 8s and over geared with a 39 spur and 45 pinion and it’s an absolute beast. • @KiloWattRC
