I’m going for my lvl lll,, I’m struggling with the math on how to space smokes ie,, what is the math for a room 30’X30’ or 250’X100’ ,,, I haven’t grasped it yet,, idk why the light isn’t clicking
I believe you are referring to table 17.6.3.5.1 and if so that table is for heat detector spacing. I do plan on covering that eventually, but first I am going to continue with smoke detectors
They were not specific on distance for air handlers for larger than usual returns and supplies because it would depend on the rate of air flow, the direction and the manner in which the air is manipulated
I believe there is copyright or licensing or something that prevents us from sharing, but if you would like I will gladly share a link to their website where the PDF may be purchased.

Could you explain further the "top 15% ceiling height requirement"?
What about required spacing for cross zone spot detectors for suppression systems
what do I look at for smoke detector requirements for commercial spaces?
How about small meeting room that won't have any 36 in. clearance from both supply and return, any suggestions on detector location?
Man great video. Thanks for sharing
What about ceiling height? Can you give an example using the table in NFPA 72 say 26' tall = .40
