Yeah man, I just finished doing another guitar. It works great! Going to get a dremel for even better results with less elbow grease. I agree, Music Nomad make really solid products. I started with their guitar polish and "tune it" nut lube, and was so impressed, I now own a bunch of their stuff! Thank for for stopping and don't forget to subscribe. Rock on bro!
Big fan of music nomad products and Even though i ireally liked this fret cleaning kit And would recommend it I personally prefer the micro mesh pads. No liquid involved and just as fast.
Yeah, I've become a fan of music nomad. Solid products. I use this kit with my Dremel. I tape off the fretboard, put a tiny dap of the frine on my frets, and with a dremel polishing wheel , shine it up beautifully. If I have tool marks from crowing files etc, I'll use a another product called FRTLAZER( German company). It comes with a fret polishing block with graduated sand paper, up to 7000 grit. It works amazing as well! Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to subcribe, rock on
Good stuff, also like the lizard spit pads. But I have found, if you have a dremel tool and a felt pad and jeweler's rouge work the best with less mess. Just subjective. Great video.👍
Yeah I'm loving this kit. I just bought a Dremel 4300 kit. It came with all the goodies! I'm going to go through my guitar collection and give them all a dremel treatment. Practice on my cheapos first, lol. I've read it can cause heat and melt the glue holding the frets in. have you had any issues? I'll be going low and slow. Have not tried lizard spit pads, I'll definately check them out though. thanks bro! Dont forget to subscribe! Rock on
@@BrunoFreitasMusicIt can cause heat at a high rpm or if you bear down on it. I use a varible speed Dremel, set on a lower RPM. Works great on all my guitars. Good luck, I am sure you will enjoy the results. Light hand, low rpm you will have no probs.
@@dagguitar51 Sweet!! Thanks for the feedback. Low and slow is the plan. I'm excited to get them all shined up! Plus it will save my fingers the fatigue from scrubbing with steel wool. Rock on bro!
No, I believe it is a a rosewood fretboard. The guitar is a 1998 Ephiphone Les Paul Jr. Made by Samick in Indonesia at the time. It actually took a horrendous fall one time. I glued the headstock back on, and gave it custom Olive/Army green paint job. Plays great!!
Great Stuff. All the Music Nomad items I've purchased ( 12 ) are Fantastic. Great company to do-business with.
