You know, I think you deserve major credit for the things you find to show us. The floating ghost ship, although you were SMART not to go inside, was actually super cool. Walking around the boats and especially the part that sinks during high tide, I've never seen any of that before. This was a great video.
Wow, good order on the spicy chicken salad and curry. I'm telling you, this kind of food has completely cured some health problems I have had. The diet here is so much healthier.
Most of this was built in the early 90s. There was a dispute as the land is part of the national forest. It’s been shuttered for a little over 20 years.
Good to see you exploring different locations, ghost ship etc. I ate at the same restaurant by the cryztal clear water ....beautiful environment. Safe travels back to Bangkok
Brother, you are the only one deserved my subscriber with amazing contents that you had created and bringing us with fascinating part of the country. I hope you expand further more throughout southeast countries next door neighbors
As I can remember, the boat hotel was originated at Great Barrier Reef, Australia around late 80s to early 90s as a floating hotels but fail to survive.
The abandoned ghost ship 🚢 is huge but it's sad to see the end of its glorious time ⏲️...likewise for the surrounding resorts by the sea 🌊, it could be due to covid-19 closure..some 1 may reopen it one day...the island is huge by size but lack of developments like other places...the journey has been a breeze on your bike...the restaurant by the sea front looks great and the cost is reasonable ...you summarised the trip is true and l agreed with you totally...other places/ islands offer better options...unless you like nature...the sinking bridge links to the end of prier is something different 😂🎉...thanks Serg for bringing us along this unusual but exciting journey...stay safe
Traveling myself at the moment and have been thinking how much time and effort your videos would be to make, setting up shots, doubling back when you see something cool, etc. Hope RUclips rewards your efforts. Paddy Doyle and Mark weins have made videos of the seafood on that pier. I was there 2 weeks ago, busier in the morning when all the tour boats and ferries are loading up. Also able to walk across and stay dry lol. Cheers
@@LifewithSerg America is such a mess now being ran by a bunch nutty liberal politicians. Actually the long term prognosis is scaring for the future generation.
Like I said before, it was over 20 years ago that I was there... but there was a sense of lawlessness... I remember seeing a farang openly carrying a revolver... and, a few other things that made me uncomfortable.
@@LifewithSerg Take it or leave it... I'm telling you that you should be careful when wandering about 'abandoned' places... don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the videos... but that side of Thailand is different. We saw guns. There was cannabis being grown quite openly... a few of the restaurants sold magic mushrooms openly and there were other things going on that I can't say on RUclips... let's put it this way... some of it made me feel physically sick, although I doubt I'd ever be able to prove what I saw. It was over 20 years ago and, to be fair, there's obviously been a LOT of development since then. I mean, when I was there I saw maybe 3 other westerners...
I dare bet that even if you've broken into one of those ghost ships / abandoned buildings and stayed for a week or two with making campfires inside every nights *no one would've ever come and bothered* you.
There is actually RUclipsr that lived in one of them for two or three days. I I just don’t think that making video evidence of myself committing a crime in a foreign country that I live in, is a wise idea. Lol.
Wow you skipped the best parts of the southeast Islands by not taking a slow boat or speedboat to Koh Maak, Koh Kam and Koh Kood. You really missed the boat (pun intended) on this series Serge. 😢
@@LifewithSergAnother very impolite answer on your part to a viewer who was only making a suggestion. You look so chill in your videos, but it seems that you lack education and graciousness in real life.

This is all such fun exploratory stuff. I am so glad people enjoy this.
Like the galaxy cruise ship on the island
Yeah it’s super cool. Sad it never opened.
Your videos so fascinating. You always take us to unusual places. Thank you. Take care back to bangkok
This was one of my favorite things to visit on the island. I just found it so fascinating.
Wow, good order on the spicy chicken salad and curry. I'm telling you, this kind of food has completely cured some health problems I have had. The diet here is so much healthier.
Yes it was so good.
Haunted town of ghost ship city...could be a horror film location!
Totally!
Those abandoned buildings look creepy 😮. It would be nice to know the history of that area. Thanks for interesting video, Serg!

Excellent adventure, safe journey back home. 👍
Thank you! Will do!
thank you my dear friend, keep update. see you in bali
Thank you, I will
Nice video Serg! Koh Chang looks like a beautiful, chill place to hang out in. Have a safe ride back to Bangkok
Thanks! Will do!
Great adventures Serg thanks for sharing 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! More coming up next year
Thank you so much Serg for sharing these videos 🙏
My pleasure!
Good to see you exploring different locations, ghost ship etc. I ate at the same restaurant by the cryztal clear water ....beautiful environment. Safe travels back to Bangkok
Thank you, kindly!
Thanks for a great series Serg. Koh Chang is indeed the perfect place to get away from it all and do nothing.
Oh yes, it is a wonderful island to come and relax.
Brother, you are the only one deserved my subscriber with amazing contents that you had created and bringing us with fascinating part of the country. I hope you expand further more throughout southeast countries next door neighbors
I really appreciate your support! I plan to visit some other neighbor countries next year
Totally agree with your conclusion, will travel to east cost of Thailand on Feb. definitely will follow some of your advice, Thanks Serg!
I hope you have a wonderful time. If you look in the description section of each video, I put Google map links to every location I went to in there.
Thank you for sharing other parts of Koh Chang that are rarely who go to explored. It’s a shame, there was abandoned.
Yes, it really was a beautiful area!
This was a great video! Enjoyed seeing the abandonments on the island. Two thumbs up!!
So happy to know you liked it. I really enjoy exploring things like this.
Good insumnary Serg. Up to the next adventure. But first relaxation perhaps.
Yes indeed!
As I can remember, the boat hotel was originated at Great Barrier Reef, Australia around late 80s to early 90s as a floating hotels but fail to survive.
That’s a different one. That one was a barge. This one was built as a hotel in 1996. Not a boat. Never opened.

Yeah that whole report has been closed to a long time I think. Too bad, it’s so quiet down there. Glad you enjoyed the adventure.
Your adventure, I am happy to give Thumpsup
That’s so nice of you!
Another great video mate, stay safe on your way home.
Thanks, will do!p
Nice video ❤
Thanks for the visit
Awesome content! I was hoping the Lost with Serg was going to happen on that large ghost boat.🤣 But unfortunately, you couldn't go on it.
Lots of other people have broken into it, personally, I prefer to not show myself committing crimes in my videos. Lol.
@@LifewithSerg I was not suggesting that you should commit a crime. I was just hoping it was allowed so you could get lost. Lol. 😂
I expect you’ve gone back but in Khlung near Chanthaburi there is a great Soft Shell Crab restaurant in the Mangroves. Worth checking out
Yes, am already back, but I will keep that in mind. Next time I go in that direction. Thank you!
Those ghost boats are so interesting but sad that they aren falling apart.
Yes, those are my thoughts exactly. Apparently there was a dispute as some of it is billed on forest department land.

It’s definitely a bit of work. However, I really enjoy it.
I was meanwhile the 10th time on koh chang and i also was many times on Samui. I prefer to go to Koh chang. For me the better island.
And I think that’s the wonderful aspect of life. We all have different tastes, and different likes. I’m really glad you enjoyed your time on Koh Chang
Been abandoned since At least 2011 when I first went there.
I’m pretty sure it was finished in 1996 and never opened due to legal disputes.
Why didnt go there at night? You might get some interesting stuff to share 😮
Why don’t you go make videos there. Then you can do it how you want. Lmao
And planning for the next trip next year?
Golden triangle and all the way south.
This hotel encroaches on the forest park area. The Forest Department has ordered its demolition.
OK that makes sense
How did this ship landed there
I’m pretty sure that they built it there, and it was never really a ship to begin with
If this ship hotel were in the States squatters would have moved in and occupied the entire building.
Man you aren’t kidding. I love America, but honestly I don’t miss the bullshit. I will return once it has returned to that it used to be.

Yes. Lots of people have been here. It’s nothing new. Lmao
Gee. Waiting for Zombies to pop up during the Abandon Resorts tour.
I wish I would’ve spent a little bit more time there. It was a very cool.
It's a shame that all those ships were left.
Yes, it is definitely a shame that everything was left to rot. It looks like it would’ve been a really cool place to stay.
Much of this has been abandoned for over 20 years
Yes. Finished in 1996. It never opened because of legal disputes. As far as I know.
early

I believe in some kind of an afterlife. Not sure if it’s ghosts or not, but I do believe in presence of some spirits.
