I really like this video. It's really nice to see someone just casually hunting and posting it instead of just another speedrun with no errors whatsoever. It's a real player, doing an average hunt.
I'm glad you appreciate that too, then. With my MHGU Deviant G5 videos, I did want to show how these quests could be beaten without needing to be a super speedrunner with the most perfect optimised setups, even if it is time consuming.
Amen! We need more gameplays like this. You can notice a lot more details than someone either repeating the same one or two actions over and over again or the monster just being knocked over 97% of the fight.
I love your videos a lot. I use them as reference whenever I do hunts since I'm a guild purist myself. It's rare to see a guild bro doing g5 quests since almost everything I see is either adept or valor so it's great to see gameplay that is not 100% optimized/speedrun.
I swear to god it's been 3 days since i started doing this quest. 0 wins whatsoever. My first time looking up videos before clearing the quest by myself, too. Old world monhan sure is hell for solo players. Now i know i have the right approach with the smoke bombs thanks to your video tho. 👍
You're welcome! Smoke Bombs are almost a necessity to do this quest in single player. A nice trick that I only learned later is to use the Dung Bomb supply drop from the Provision Division. It is triggered by 2 Monsters being in the same area, which means it tells you exactly when you need to start throwing Smoke Bombs down! Good luck.
That was one heck of a hunt never thought someone would use full deviant armor in G rank most of the time I see costumized transmogged Neset armor, say which Deviant armor is viable for Longsword? Aside from the Deviant Soulseer set.
Thanks, I think Hellblade is one of the most difficult Deviants. I tried using more different armour sets later on, to make my videos have more variety. It's good that Deviant sets have skill combinations that Neset cannot have. I've enjoyed using the Silverwind and Soulseer sets with Long Sword. I've never tried the Nightcloak set, but it looks good too.
@@Solibrae Have you tried using Dreadking sets in any of your solos? haven't gotten it yet but I heard it was good for most blademaster sets don't know if it holds well in G rank tho

Finally someone who plays with guild style. I was bored to see only people that use cheat like adept style or brave style
Congratulations on acheving something this difficult

You're welcome! Keep that Guild spirit alive!

@@gamechanger8908 I'm sure that'll be good too. It was very popular in the base Generations.
