I'm glad I found you. I enjoy your narration of these classics. You bring these stories to life and keep the attention of the listener. In my opinion, you're channel should take off once more people find you as I did a few weeks ago. Again, bravo and blessings for you my friend.

Oh marvellous reading as always! Thank you so much for sharing, I just listened by candlelight to commemorate 130 years since it was first read at the chit-chat club, so you've been a wonderful part of my little anniversary night ☺️

bless you for that merciful way of incorporating the latin - I have always held that I am not one of james's schoolboys and I resent being subjected to his perverse passages of untranslated latin

It’s a wonderful story - who can beat Monty? - and this is an excellent reading.

Almost my only gripe about the reading is, that the English was read over the Latin, instead of Latin then English, Latin then English, etc. The presence of the Latin makes the story better - because it is unusual. IOW, the presence of an unfamiliar language serves as an effective distancing, and atmosphere-building, technique.
The other gripe is, that there are so few videos, of this kind, read by this reader. They are read quite excellently.
