Roy Ziv - Distant Visions (Official Video)

- This is the title track from my EP "Distant Visions".
The album was named after this song because It has most of the elements that makeup some of the other songs. Simple melodies, a heavy syncopated chorus, a solo section over a funky groove, production full of electronic and organic instruments, and a final epic section that fades out into the next song.
One of my favourite melodies that I wrote, and really fun to play as well. Not too technical, but more focused on good phrasing, cool production techniques, songwriting, and then I let loose at the end haha.
This was filmed up north in Muskoka, Ontario, over looking Lake Muskoka.
For anyone wondering - the Spark amp IS NOT connected to the cab. I just brought the spark amp for playback, and we had the Cab as well, but it looked kinda cool so we decided to keep it in the shot.
The tone i'm using in this song is built using Bias FX plugin, and is HEAVILY processed with EQ, compression and a few other plugins to get this tone. But the heart of it is just the Bias FX plugin.

Very good songs for all the album. You should form a group of super musicians like Plini that would bring so much to your playing. Also i think that it is best that the guitar sometime left the place to other instrumental. Or even use of acoustic guitar to change to everall mood of the album. Thanks

The 2nd or 9th, if you’re playing A minor pentatonic add B.
or if you wanna go blues, you add the flat 5th, which in an a minor pentatonic would be a D# or an Eb
