I have passed all of my testing and did my drug test I’m waiting for the results to come back to take my interview

I didn't even have an interview. I got hired after getting negative drug test
We're did ya get hired at they keep blowing up my phone here in lansing michigan there hiring like crazy but it's only like $16.67 per hour to start
Yea me too waiting on my drug test tho. How long did it take to get it back and how much overtime can you get a week if any?
So GM launched GM online system where as employees we get to go on website where we access all the information and documents that before were issued by office staff, pay stabs, Tax documents, pension related stuff... basically they eliminated all their office staff at all their plants and downloaded the work onto employees. Also they made urw there are call centers set up if anyone has issues, but those call centers are set up in 3rd world countries, so not only you can't understand the people you talk to, GM is also exploiting cheap labour, setting up where there are limited human rights, underaged child labour etc...
Great job General Motors.

You must be nuts, one of the worst organizations for taking advantage of workers and they'll expect you to put work ahead of family. Stay away from GM as workplace and stay away from their products because they aren't any better.

I still am, I am only couple of years away from retirement so it makes no sense for me to quit and look for other jobs, but I made sure my kids didn't even think about working for GM, glad I did, they are much better off today.

GM doesn't ask technical questions, so don't worry, they hire everyone who just knows some buzz words like database, cloud and java. GM's starting salary is extremely low at $60k, they mainly hire college grads to save money. Because of how cheap they are, GM can only hire none computer science majored students and ppl who couldn't make it to the top or second tier IT companies. Go interview as many companies as possible, only use gm as your last option.
No at all professional interview. Please don't give hope to candidates.
GM is run by the old buddies system, there are full of under the table deals and personal favoritism. So don't come here unless you couldn't find other jobs.
