Actor's were not paid well back when the show first aired and personal problem's happened to each one of them. Yellow ranger was killed in a car accident. Pink ranger and him as you can see were the only one's that succeeded in the acting career without getting taken down by their own problems.

Personally, I’ve always felt the Green Ranger was the superior power for Tommy. But I also loved him as the White Ranger. I don’t understand why some hate on it. He was still awesome. Yes, Green was better. But White was pretty awesome too. Also I don’t think anyone can argue that Tommy Oliver was and is the superior fighter out of every Power Ranger there ever was. He proved it day one when he beat Jason 1 on 1 in that tournament fair and square. Jason was good and a worthy adversary and worthy of being the Red Ranger and leader of the Power Rangers. But Tommy was just better.

I remember seeing the Green Ranger's introduction back in 1993, ""Green with Evil, Part I: Out of Control"" Dang, I was only 6 but anyways how he single handling owned the Power Rangers, got rid of Zordon and Disabled Alpha 5. His evil laugh just made it all the more better. Because the Power Ranger's never lost or rarely did, I mean it was like victory streak til Green Ranger. It was one of those memories that stuck with me - PLUS the Toys at the time were nearly impossible to find, felt like that Jingle All The Way movie but trying to get the Green Ranger.
I have similar feelings too. Power Rangers are destroying monsters after monsters, show is getting a little boring... but then "Green with Evil" came out. It was unbelievable how he has won every fight vs 5 Rangers. First time he played on dragon dagger was also amazing - I didn't know what's going on and didn't expect a Dragonzord. After all of that he joined the team and I was so excited to see him again on the good side. Man, these are sweet memories :D

Whilst the new movie was indeed made for a more modern audience, to say that it wasn't made for us MMPR fans is grossly incorrect. Honestly, if it wasn't for the success of POWER/RANGERS a few years back and all of us older fans screaming out in to the darkness for more, we most likely never would have gotten the new Power Rangers movie. As someone who was a HUGE fan of the original MMPR, I felt like the new movie was good. There were some parts that were... enh, like the "I'm black" scene, but over all, the film was well done in my opinion and I am dearly hoping that a sequel is done, which will be a mix of the Evil Green Ranger mini arc, where Lord Zedd rescues Rita who in turn gives up her Power Coin to Tommy in hopes that between her, Zedd and Tommy can put the rangers down. Maybe borrow a little from the first movie in having Tommy attempt to destroy the command center much like Ivan Ooze did. Leave that open for a chance to have the third movie about The Machine Empire.

Even 5 years after this is so well done i looks like a netflix production. Amazing. Also, they added Ryu to the Power Rangees Battle for the Grid game,so we can have Ryu vs White and Green/Lord Drakon who is also Tommy !!!!
I’m a year late but that movie was trying to be their own Hollywood blockbuster so they used all the generic stuff like superhero combat (rather martial arts) and explosions. Basically trying to compete with Transformers, Avengers and etc.
Whoever put the white range vs scorpion choreography together, and the animations... did an outstanding and remarkable job. Specifically, that "get over here" bit where Tommy catches the chain before scorpion pulls him, that's the most realistic version I've seen over the years. Kudos to the production team.
Anything I say about the execution of this would be an understatement. Scorpion is such a beast 4:50 but he's still no match for the OG JDF, I loved this!

I’m a year late but that movie was trying to be their own Hollywood blockbuster so they used all the generic stuff like superhero combat (rather martial arts) and explosions. Basically trying to compete with Transformers, Avengers and etc.

Whoever put the white range vs scorpion choreography together, and the animations...
did an outstanding and remarkable job.
Specifically, that "get over here" bit where Tommy catches the chain before scorpion pulls him, that's the most realistic version I've seen over the years.
Kudos to the production team.
I saw the making of this the Green Ranger part and Jason was hurt and still was able to fight like this. Go Go Power Rangers
